I like those a lot!

A big factor will be school groups on the Friday. It could easily be fairly crowded and it could also be pretty dead. I have gone in the middle of the third week of May the past 4 years and had pretty good success. Personally I would say that you would have more success going in the middle of the week of the 19th then on the Friday-Saturday. The previous week is education days and those can get a crowded fast if you hit the wrong one. If you are planning on buying Fast Lane then its probably a toss up as it will allow you to get whatever you want done. We bought Fast Lane last year on a Wed-Thurs and pretty much had walk ons on everything except Maverick.

While the whole ride was great I was especially surprised by the first drop and the final in-line twist. It is only my fourth B&M invert (Raptor and the Dragon's Challenge combo being the other three) but it is my favorite of the group for sure. So glad to have another stand out ride in my home park. BIG BIG thank you to everyone at KI that put today's events together! Action Zone as a whole looks absolutely incredible compared to last year! On a separate note, the themeing put into this ride gives my hope for other CF rides going forward. I'm particularly intrigued to see how Wonder Mountain turns out at Canada's Wonderland turns out now.

While I agree that it is very unlikely that we will see any of those return, Cedar Fair is self-insured so that part wouldn't be an issue.

Michigan's Adventure seems to do this a fair amount on weekdays with Wolverine Wildcat. Even on slow days this seems to a questionable decision to me. Is it really that big of a hit to have one more (likely minimum wage) employee on hand?

Don originally said April 1st, then he said it would be released on Twitter today (which doesn't appear to have happened as of yet). It is on the website now if you know where to look. Perhaps a group of you could get together and find it. (Hint Hint) Appears to be some sort of tent/building going into the Action Zone circle.

They have said that no POV would be released until media day. Then again they changed the park map release date so you never know.

According to Greg Scheid's twitter account Banshee has completed its first test run. Don also mentioned on KIC that the park map would up on Monday.

Nope. They moved trains back and forth from the transfer track a few times but no test runs have been completed.

I believe it is actually gravel, though it does look like concrete on the webcam. It is a safety issue. There has been some activity by the lift motor the last half hour or so. We maybe getting close.

LOTS of parks have old queue lines that haven't been reused. Heck, Flight Commander's queue is still intact at Kings Island and it closed in 1995. I think this area is ripe for a new addition but I don't think that leaving the queue is a signal one way or the other that this is where the next big addition will go.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you meant but as far as being able to walk right up to the fences, no guest will not be able to. Those fences are inside of the fenced-in ride area and are in place anywhere the ride comes within a certain distance (I believe it is 10 feet) of the ground. A similar area can be seen at the bottom of Diamondbacks first drop. The queue area should give some great photo ops though.

Some of the groupings on the ballot creator are different from last year. The Backlot Stunt Coasters are grouped and all the Jet Stars are together (as opposed to having separate categories for Jet Star I and Jet Star II). I don't believe that this was the case last year which leads me to believe we may in fact be seeing a steel poll. I certainly hope so!

Pretty sure they are the electric lines running to the heaters that are currently on the footers.

^This seems to be happening at most of the CF parks with DA. Kings Island and Cedar Point are also doing this for Platinum Pass holders this year.
