  1. I'm surprised no one has said The Legend or Twister those rides are all about the Lats. Oh and Voyage's spaghetti bowl is pretty twisty. But my favorites all come from Intamin, I305, Maverick, and Skyrush.
  2. Tennessee Tornado and the Morgan hypers track amazingly and they use inside rails. I think more then just the style of track goes into how well a ride tracks from how well the pieces are welded together to how the layout is designed. Like you mentioned how well the arrows tracked. Well majority of those were designed by drawing on the shop floor a bent to the shape. Well before the use of computer aided systems designing the layouts. Other then it being your own opinion where is the research on whether one is far more superior then the other design. To me this like trying to argue to why Intamin still uses the lattice track and over the new spine track they developed. I'm sure there's a reason why they chose this style over the other and unless your apart of the design team between KK and Chance we may never know.
  3. Tony from CP said that they are not getting the Steel for the rides until March for both of their rides and said it should take about a day or two to assemble the Disko, so I would expect the same for this ride. If you're worried about a park putting up a ride with 3 months to go, you should of seen how fast Luna Park went up at Coney Island. It only took them 100 days to put up the entire park.
  4. There is only one locking position for the lap-bars and it doesn't matter if your big or small it still going to not lock until it is in its proper position. If your body is keeping the bar from getting to that position you will not be allowed to ride. The ride is not friendly to larger guests but for little kids the distance between the 't' part of the bar and the side of the car is more then enough room for kids to slip out. I've seen kids get out before a ride host has released the pedal for the car they were in. While I do not know if this particular accident actually happened or is another rumor, I can see where it is plausible.
  5. Height requirements have been announced Pipe Scream: 42" min. to ride; 42" - 48" must be accompanied by a supervising companion (responsible person). Lake Erie Eagles: 36" min. to ride; 36" - 46" must be accompanied by a supervising companion (responsible person). Per Tony Clark's Twitter
  6. Technically it is designed to bring a train to safe stop. If there is an e stop or a train hasn't cleared the main brake run .
  7. There isn't that much traffic back there during the night just mainly a street sweeper and a power washer or two. Most of the rides back there are accessible by service roads so the chances of hearing lots of noise from Maint. vehicles are slimmed down as to opposed to noise on the main midway.
  8. I could see them eventually making it all as one park by their 150th ..... Like they did with WOF for their 40th. Just a shot in the dark with this idea.
  9. The ignorant people that are upset over Coke's Super Bowl ad. An ad about how diverse America is and the reaction is the complete opposite.
  10. Another update this time the custom footer connectors. and Im going for detail so I'm adding the covers to where they filled the supports with sand
  11. He also designed Son of Beast
  12. After this winter in the area? you still think a winter event is a good idea.
  13. Sorry for the double post. Here is an update of the shells I'm making to make them more like Maverick's trains. they are not done just yet as I got to modify them to cover up the existing shells.
  14. There was an update released to fix some bugs. On the main screen go to Help > check for updates
  15. Small update The lift has stators Bracket to hold the Stators
  16. I might release two versions the promo and the Opening day version (IE mist in the tunnel ,tunnel sound and light effects, but not the fire hose that sprayed over the second canyon.) but right now I'm focusing on the Opening day version and the Promo one will come later. Right now I'm taking a little break from the ride while I wait for my friend (coasterlover420) to finish the multi move script for the ride then I'll pick it back up
  17. I find it odd that Maint does your block tests in the morning as apposed to the crew. I understand that the only park that allows crews to transfer on and off trains is us at CP. But I thought the crews at least did the saftey tests in the AM. I guess you learn something new everyday.
  18. This is going to take a long time to finish ( as I want to add working water bombs, scenery, tunnel effects, etc ) but I have been working on this for almost 2 weeks as of today and I would like to show you my progress.
  19. Should I make a thread ? What do you guys think?
  20. Maybe in an update could you add an option to hide railings but keep the catwalk? Like for instance I'd like to remove the railing on the middle catwalks on the storage track.
  21. I like option 1 .... the main article in option 2 is just way too big for my liking.
  22. Mainly has to do with the undercarriage of the trains, Not enough room for the earth magnets, skid plate for the drive tires, the electrical contacts to release harnesses, and add a Catch car dog to the trains. I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons why.
  23. 1. Cedar Point 2. Kings Island 3. Kennywood
