  1. Oh, trust me, that was his last post! And TPR returns to a somewhat normal state again.
  2. I rode Skyrush 27 times in one day on top of 16 from the previous day last year during STITP
  3. Watching enthusiasts argue over a matter of opinion is always entertaining
  4. Cedar Point is the only other park that gets really involved with their fans that I can think of.
  5. Keep checking Ebay then. That's how I purchased my sets. I also agree with Jack, whats the point of selling a product only a select few want. Coasterdynamix seems like they are making money off the wooden coasters and other little models they are selling so they are more then likely going to stick to doing that., If I were running the business I do the same thing. Does it suck they dont sell them anymore, yeah. But to berate the owner of the company because they don't sell something that doesn't make them money is foolish.
  6. The first nano is now avalible I just purchased one earlier today. I can't wait to get it. Plus everyone should follow them on Facebook. http://www.coasterdynamix.com/collections/nano-coasters
  7. Why do people keep saying this? I"ve seen it with a line once, when every other coaster in the park was shut down due to weather. Awful coaster. I agree though, if they do get something between next year and 2020, I'd hope it's a conversion to that beautiful hunk of garbage Mean Streak. Because it does get a line even when other coasters are open. Just because you visit the park frequently doesn't mean you know how popular it is.
  8. I don't care why it changed manufacturers, I'm just stoked for more massive Intamin attractions in the Sates.
  9. Realistically, this would increase capacity as people would actually ride it. That's not to say I don't like Mean Streak, I love it. But I've seen it too many times have like 2 people in each train throughout the afternoon. Whether it's two trains or three (or even one), Iron Streak would be an improvement. There's a difference between capacity and how many people are actually ridding the ride at a given time. And contrary to popular belief. MS still gets a line for majority of the day, after working the ride for three years I think I would know.
  10. Only 2 trains ? I doubt cp would do cut the capacity by a third
  11. The only thing wrong with the under ground parking is the water table is really high and the cost would be more the what it would be worth.
  12. In the interview, Robb had with the manufacturer at IAPPA, they stated that the Ferrari World coaster would feature 2 of the 4 special track switches.
  13. The bleachers are taken down every off season. I don't know the reason why I just know from the last couple years I have gone in for pre season clean up they were putting up bleachers.
  14. Jack Aldrich Theater was a wax museum before it was a theater ... not a picnic shelter.
  15. ^Patience, it will come. Give him a break. not everything can be shared instantaneously.
  16. Only some of Camper Village was removed for that. There's still a bit of it left. Not much for anything huge, though. The only thing left are the cement slab sites that were put in the first phase of Lighthouse Point. Other then that all actual camp sites are gone. And the whole area is now considered Lighthouse Point. Sorry for any confusion on this minute detail.
  17. Camper Village was removed this last off season for more cabins for Lighthouse Point.
  18. You all are reading way to far into a rendering.
  19. It probably is being set up somewhere off camera.
  20. It all depends on the condition of the steel and the previous colors they are painting over. Also they may still be using a primer as some primers need to be painted over within 24 hrs of being applied.
  21. I don't find Vortex as horrible as most enthusiast do. It's an Arrow so I expect to go through a few awkward transitions and have some slight head banging. Same with wooden coasters I expect it to be bumpy. I also don't get the people complaining about the so called B&M rattle. It's like people expect to ride on air suspension and want it to be silky smooth. Now don't get me wrong there are some really rough coasters out there ( SLC's, SOB, etc... ). Sorry, I went off on a tangent; I just see newer and newer generations becoming pansies when it comes to riding coasters.
