  1. This will be the first time I haven't leveled up when the new level came out. 190k XP to level up, guess I spent too much time on those silly 1xp tasks for the rich hood. Hopefully in a week I can uber or left it up. And IRS building would be pretty awesome and save a ton of time everyday. Maybe they can do something similar for the characters too.
  2. That's a nutty glitch. Although I'm not sure how many times a week I'll hit the donut bonus, I'm just not into needing to play 7 times a day, a few pieces here and there and I'll be fine.
  3. Except their is a bug with the rail yard, it just keeps adding up the points and not giving you any parts, oh well.
  4. I guess part of me was hoping they would use that area for a coaster - but it makes sense. Since their post showing the eye-sore of a stadium, I'm wondering if they're hinting that something new will be put there for 2017. I believe that was more of a 'damn I'm right here, maybe I should go' photo more than anything. You sir, are not a good man. Now I'm tempted to do a Fri-Sun Texas SF trip. I found a round-trip flight on Spirit Airlines for $110 and I've got some Hilton Honors points I've been waiting to burn up! Spirit? Good luck there, 50/50 shot if you'll actually make it here within 3 hours of scheduled arrival!
  5. You can usually get the Sheraton on non Cowboy's weekend on Hotwire for around $50 (its' the only4 star property for the area) A lot of people stay at the La Quinta or Hyatt Place. For example, this weekend since its game weekend rates are in the $180-$219's for the area. Crazy legs is getting an overhaul and staying put where is. As far as batwing in concerned, lets face it, while sort of popular with the kids, would anyone really miss it if it goes? It rarely goes down so it has that going for it as well as a great lead-in to the area. Nothing has been mentioned about getting ones last rides in which they have always done in the past so I would not read into it much that it wasn't mentioned in the announcement, after all Mr. Freeze and Batman are the focal points of the area and the two additions will help tie it all together.
  6. Its just too bad the MGM won't have gaming, of course right now you can't even bet on simulcast thanks to the amazing leadership in Austin. I'm just thrilled they are shooting for opening day for everything to be ready.
  7. I think SFOT faired pretty well with the addition of 2 new flats and a rehab of an old favorite. No one can say they aren't spending money, NTAG, JL:B4M, TSS, BBT, and now this. It's good to see a park getting new rides/attraction on a regular basis and SFOT certainly was starting to lack in the flat department. Slated to be ready by park opening in 2016 according to local news, this I can also be happy with, 4 months to install and remake the area seems like a good time frame.
  8. As a wise man at Cedar Fair once said, the less money spent on theming that doesn't enhance the ride experience, the more money we can spend on the ride. I'm all for a minimalist theme if it means more money can be spent on my overall park experience.
  9. ^^^ I realize there are many body types, but I found both the seats and restraints comfortable, in fact I sat on the train for over an hour during a rain storm and never once did I wish I was sitting somewhere more comfortable. If you didn't like it, it's ok, not everyone will like every ride, but it doesn't make a ride a POS, maybe, less desirable than the others in the line up. And Like Robb said, I appreciate that you've ridden it and formed an opinion that way.
  10. I have never seen so much bitching about a ride in all my years. Out of all of you complaining, who has ridden Batman: The Ride at SFFT? I'd bet most of you have not because you are too busy bitching and not busy making travel plans. I was one of the first 100 to ride it and it was legit some of the most fun I've had on a roller coaster. Some are designed to be balls out kick your ass OMG amazing, others are appeal to those who don't like intense coasters, and then there are those like this that are meant to be and are totally FUN! Be freaking happy a new ride is going in, they could be taking a few things out ya know! If a park has a ride design that draws a crowd, and you've spent millions on development, why wouldn't you clone it? Especially when most of the people out East have never heard of Fiesta Texas! Are some of you bitching about the cloning of Justice League? No, you all are jumping up and down and can't wait until you get one. But as soon as anyone puts in a clone coaster, the whining occurs.
  11. Even more hilarious, he's been sentenced to 17 years. Dreamvision better think twice...
  12. For those that complained about people having to dump their drinks out in buckets and saying it was gross, well, remember when I told you that a drink dump station would be put in? Well, it's almost ready. It's located at the entry point of the single rider/flash pass line to allow security to monitor both. When the building is full, you will be held at the drink dump station and allowed to keep your drink until proceeding to the building. I would not be surprised if that cost a small mint with permits, plumbing costs, etc but will certainly be better than the buckets.
  13. The plat flash pass doesn't allow for re-rides, if no line, re-ride all you want except for titan. mr. freeze is suppose to be twice before they make you walk. hmmmm, finally!! "Buy early and receive exclusive access to ride wait times on the Six Flags Mobile App in 2016"
  14. You will probably be ok with a Gold flash pass since you can't ride twice on NTAG or Titan, so why waste the extra money? Sept 3, 5 days only, season passes will be given away at 65% off. At current gate prices(I hear season pass prices are going up between 5 and 10 dollars) a pass at $55 dollars is likely with free parking, gold status, and all of the water parks you can handle. It's like bargain basement pricing.
  15. Yeah but the exercise wouldn't have come near burning the necessary calories to equal the goodness eaten at Andersons
  16. Posted here and a few other places, guess a subtitle change is in order.
  17. If you could buy monorail parts, I'd be all over it. But realistically you have to play 8 times a day(I didn't unlock level 10 until 4 hours before the end of Act I) and I want this damn thing to up and down my shore line to nowhere, sort of like the Las Vegas Monorail!
  18. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, don't play at the Indian Casino!
  19. In a way, Planet Snoopy to me looked unfinished because of all the available space back where the wacky worm once sat. That was all moved as part of a bigger plan, and as plans change it just didn't feel finished. This will nicely finish it out. It's a safe bet with this becoming what I would call complete, that the kiddie ride additions are done for now. It was something the park greatly needed and as said before, it has been a huge hit and well received by family's. As Shave said, they don't stay in PS forever, get the younger kids excited about WOF so that they move on to the big stuff and keep coming back. When the demographic of teens/tweens/thrill seekers increases more thrills will come. To me it's a genius plan.
  20. If there was one park in the U.S. that I would wish not to put in a new attraction and instead put in a new front gate, this would be the one.
  21. They make a lot of money off of families and finishing out Planet Snoopy will yield a large return on investment for that next big thing.
  22. ^^ I don't disagree at all, the park needs to be spruced up and asphalt done away with. It's tough to keep the vegetation healthy when water restrictions are in play but there are ways around it. Vegas has shown us that.
  23. Perfect addition to their lineup and a great people eater ride.
