  1. Well, I'll be... that's some pretty sharp-eyed work, my friend. EDIT: Just had another random thought - the red stripes on the outfits - Red Stripe beer - which is brewed in Jamaica... (I'm simply looking for more justification for all the time I've spent, um, "analyzing" this photo... )
  2. ^^^^Yeah, see, that's why anyone who is taking this contest seriously at all should completely ignore any and all of my posts here.
  3. This is totally random, but the first thing I thought of when I saw "23" was Disney. (I'm getting unhealthily addicted to this thread!!!!!!!)
  4. Also, wouldn't KidTums be with them on a cruise? Have we established that she isn't with them? Thought someone had...
  5. ^^Whoops, my bad... missed your earlier post. That picture is really messing with my head today.
  6. ^Wow, WELL DONE! That is some fine internet investigative work!
  7. You guys are still missing the clue! Amazing! It's so obvious but no one can see past the hot asses! I don't understand... there's nothing in that picture except hot asses... Believe me, I've looked long enough and I'm pretty sure...
  8. I am horrible at this sort of game, but I humbly ask for more clues like this one. Please. I'm actually shocked no one has gotten this yet. It's so easy and obvious! *SLAPS FOREHEAD HARD* Of course! You drive a Ferrari, you get chicks like these! Ferrari World!
  9. ^Of course! Crested Butte, Colorado. (I'm telling you, I really suck at this type of thing.)
  10. I am horrible at this sort of game, but I humbly ask for more clues like this one. Please.
  11. ^^It really is staggering how fast China's major urban centers are growing. Here's a fact about Shanghai that I still find unbelievable: in 1979, there was one building in the city over 20 stories tall; today, there are over 5000. And you know those giant cranes that are used to construct skyscrapers? There's a finite supply of them and at one time, I believe, almost all of them were in Shanghai. Crazy.
  12. Agreeing with so many prior comments: it's sad to see a former park fallen into total collapse, but there's also something really fascinating about them, too. Better when they're photographed on a grey, rainy day; adds to the somber creepiness. And it blows my mind that ruins like these can stand for more than 20 years...
  13. Walrus Peak Rapids looks awesome!
  14. ...I didn't realize that blowfish were native to Florida...
  15. ^^I love the Kennywood Thunderbolt, but the biggest drops on that bad boy are WAY over 75 feet. Granted, the tallest hill is under 75 feet...
  16. Even though it does seem to be a hair outside the parameters, I have to give it up for the Pheonix. Kennywood's Jack Rabbit, with that rip-roaring double-dip, is a close second. But I've never been to Indiana Beach (dying to go), and I'm digging all the Cornball Express love...
  17. You think you've seen the craziest possible photo of this new Giant, and then along come some more, and they're even crazier. Holy damn. If this works, and I really hope it does, I also hope someone out there is thinking "Rye Aeroplane" and "Crystal Beach Cyclone."
  18. Wow, AWESOME report and photos! The nighttime shots of and from the Burj tower are MAGNIFICENT!
  19. Can't get enough of looking at this coaster and this park. Thanks and really jonesing to seeing more!!!
  20. ^Seconded. Also, those Timberliner trains didn't thrill me at first, but they are looking better and better, the more I see of them.
  21. So much coolness this year! And the SkyQuest thing could be an instant favorite. All the dreamy glory of bird-like soaring with very little of the feces-expelling horror of SkyCoasters = A plate full of sugar-coated awesome.
  22. Forgot to ask a question: Who was representing at the S&S booth? Just wondering since Stan Checketts is no longer at the helm.
  23. Holy crap, that Technical Park black and white mouse vehicle is EFFING STUNNING! They hire Porsche Design or something?! Seriously, that is some sexy design work! Edit: The only thing I could wish for more sincerely than a Tron Lightcycle attraction featuring the Vekoma Booster Bikes is a marriage proposal from Olivia Wilde. In her full grid outfit, all glowy and stuff.
  24. Re: Proslide, how'd they make those quite accurate-looking and yet teeny-tiny slide models? Guessing they came out of some high-end CAD-driven 3D printer or something? In that first shot, I thought the guy was holding a handful of badge lanyards, till I looked more closely...
  25. ^^I think it's the pointlessness of a launched wooden shuttle coaster that makes me love it so very, very much. "Lumber Linear Gale." Or "Grandson of Beast." I would definitely ride one of those, happily. Great work on the updates; thanks so much!
