  1. SICK! It may kill me, but I'm riding this. At least once. Holy freaking Toledo.
  2. 100% agreed. I was very surprised to see how many really cool rides this park has, including a coaster with onboard surf rock, which is an automatic mega-win. Must get there someday. GREAT report!
  3. Quality of the name and logo aside, let's give Cedar Fair credit for doing something original. (But I do dig it!)
  4. Great report and El Toro does look like a blast, no surprise at all. The, um, samples in the on-ride photo shop are just one more example of Europe's towering awesomeness.
  5. You are on a mission from god, my friend. Might as well be transmitting from Mars, this is such exotic stuff. And - I'm really begging here - please do what you can to find out more about that "Devils Joy Ride" dark ride. Phenomenally curious about that. (Is that a hedge maze in front of it?) Please continue!
  6. If I wasn't going to be out of town that weekend, I'd be on this like white on rice.
  7. Awesome and hysterical finale for this trip! That video is indeed epic/hysterical/adorable. And, uh, Traincrossin' (that is you, isn't it)? Dude, ease up on that poor woman. She done gone cross-eyed.
  8. Revisited this thread to check out your Jersey Shore-Whore trip and got caught up on a lot of stuff I'd missed, including the awesome Cheetah Hunt and Wooden Warrior shots. Awesome all around. (And those freakin' Cheetahs, the real ones, are truly among the most beautiful animals to walk this planet. Magnificent.)
  9. Very cool trip and report of it! Seaside honky-tonk amusement parks and piers are among my favorite places on Earth. Especially when they have well-maintained dark rides. Really does suck to hear that the Nor'Easter is such a Snooki-level disaster these days. It looks so cool ripping so close to the other rides, and it wasn't too unpleasant to ride many years ago.
  10. I'm still very surprised they aren't calling it "CaroWindSeeker." Seems like a no-brainer.
  11. ^100% agreed. (Even TDS' "kiddieland" is over-the-top awesome...)
  12. ELO's "Fire On High?!!?" That is BEYOND awesome. Would have loved to have tried that. And yes, Canobie looks like a ton of fun. Still another park I should have visited when I lived a lot closer.
  13. Totally agree (the name doesn't bother me too much, though)! I'm very pleasantly surprised!
  14. It's funny; just discovered the Paddlewheel boats myself this year, and they really were a nice break from all the running around. We had a great "captain," very amusing. So I'll be sorry to see them go as well. I love dinosaurs, but I'll keep riding the Jurassic Parks to fill that desire, thank you very much. ^^ Also, Jeff Goldblum is a god. "The Fly" stands next to Carpenter's "The Thing" as the greatest remakes ever. EVER.
  15. Should have added this myself: Totally agreed. A B&M giga is still a great thing.
  16. Geauga Lake's Corkscrew and Double Loop. I always thought that was a head-scratcher...
  17. It really does sort of feel like Christmas morning when you wake up and there's that really big box under the tree with your name on it, and you rip it open because you've been waiting for that super-deluxe Hot Wheels set for, like, a million years, and finally, it's here, YOU KNOW IT IS! And then it turns out to be a Hot Wheels set, but not that one with the two double-decker speed launchers, just the normal one, which is STILL REALLY COOL, but not that one you were hoping for. And you want to be grateful, because you'd look like a total a-hole being sullen about it... but still...
  18. LOVE THAT LOGO! Peter Weller FTW!
  19. Enjoying all these random shots tremendously and the story/amazing tip about the Journey queue made this thread golden. (I could never keep one of those Shiriki Utundu souvenirs in my house. Still can't shake the whole "Trilogy of Terror" killer doll out of my head...)
  20. Just getting caught up with this thread; really great shots of NYC and Central Park. Awesome to see how far the Freedom Tower has gotten!
  21. That Astrosphere video is SWEET! Way to go, Funtown! I also had no idea there is now a Sharktopus plush toy. That is a beautiful, wonderful thing. Sharktopus wants our virgins!
  22. All of Disney's Towers of Terror are among the most gorgeous rides ever built, but DisneySea's makes the others look like puddles of puke. So spectacular. Eagerly awaiting more.
  23. This totally kicks ass! Awesome resource!
  24. I gotta say, I'm a little short of breath... Holy mother of mercy. And maybe there's some launched section, too? That is very, very naughty...
  25. Coming next summer to Six Flags New England: "Deja Vu All Over Again: The Yogi Berra Coaster" I'll be here all week. Try the veal and don't forget to tip your waitress...
