I'm thinking a Dark Ride or a B&M invert with a layout similar to Banshee. -
Understood. Wasn't doubting you, just wanted to get some clarification. The slow catch car return could also be due to overheating. Overheating can be caused by a failing component such as the fluid heat-exchanger, motor, or coupling as you said. Either way, it's not normal and should be troubleshot and repaired.

A giga has been talked about in this thread before TC so let's not pull the ungrateful card A giga has been discussed along with an improvement in park cleanliness/general upkeep, giga Aqua-Trax that launches you through 2 rings of fire, and improving park operations efficiency. None of the above will happen.

Carowinds announced the closure on Facebook and Twitter. It was also on their website. It's the guest's responsibility to check a parks website prior to planning a trip. -

Then had to be modified once the city realized it was over the height restriction. After Windseeker's downtime incident, that ladder on the inside of the tower became the elephant in the room.

The maintenance ladder on the inside of the tower is a single spine ladder and Cal-OSHA regulations require all ladders in CA to have a double spine. To replace this ladder with a Cal-OSHA accepted, double spine ladder, Mondial would need to redesign the entire tower for which it was obviously more feasible for CF to simply relocate Windseeker to a state (In this case Missouri) where single spine ladders are allowed. From Cal-OSHA's site: Single spine:

That has already been established. "Brought up to code" is a generalized statement. We're not exactly sure what bringing it "back up to code" entails. In any case, Back to discussing CP and their 750ft dive machine. -

Depends on a few factors: -Age of chain -Is it 1 link or multiple links in different sections of chain -Amount of wear on chain
