  1. The park announced there will be a 36" height requirement for Road Runner Express
  2. ^You can NEVER go wrong with a Schwarzkopf.
  3. ^^The InTRimidator crew was awesome when I went back in June! They were pumping those trains out. Now if only the ride was as good as the crew..... Nighthawk we didn't even bother with seeing how they were dispatching trains every 5-7 minutes and the queue was out of the entrance. Silver Bullet was one of my favorite rides to operate...especially during Haunt cause we would consistently get 35/36 trains an hour which is just under the rides theoretical of 1250 PPH however with Cedar Fair's loose article policy that's high!
  4. ^^Haha yep! Glad you brought up the Deja Vu capacity numbers because when I read on Vekoma's site about the 980 PPH capacity of the Giant Inverted Boomerangs I was thinking to my self........they do realize people have to get on and off the train and have restraints checked don't they??
  5. If it takes 1 minute to load/unload and dispatch a 32 passenger train into a 3 minute cycle this is how you would get your theoretical capacity. 1 minute Load/Unload time + 3 minute cycle time (station to station) = 4 minutes Divide 4 minutes into 60 minutes (Hour) = 15 dispatches per hour. Multiply 15 x how many passengers in vehicle which in this case we will say is 32 passengers. 15 x 32 = 480 passengers per hour (PPH) So our theoretical for this example would be 480 passengers per hour. Multiply this theoretical by how many trains/vehicles attraction can operate at a time. If there was 2 trains on this attraction we would multiply 480 x 2 which would then take our theoretical up to 960 PPH. Like Alyssa says, there's a difference between "Theoretical" and "Actual." "Theoretical" is a perfect world with full trains and no delay when loading/unloading train. Manufacturer's theoretical is just used as a basic guideline on the attractions capability. "Actual" capacity is the real world
  6. That JoJo roll is dumb and painful. Other than that Hydra is OK, not great and not horrid.
  7. Thanks for posting. Intamin definitely makes the best drop towers.
  8. I've operated Silver Bullet so well aware of the height requirement I'm just comparing how smooth the B&Ms are compared to Ghostrider. Also yes, some of the hypers have a 52" height requirement.
  9. ^ Haha yea all true. I have a 4 year old that I'm going to have to explain this to soon.........I'm dreading the day. My daughter looooooves Camp Snoopy @ KBf so I know she's going to be into bigger rides as soon as she possibly can. I still don't understand how a child can have all their teeth knocked out of their head on Ghostrider but can't ride Silver Bullet. I hated those complaints as it was hard to explain that to a guest with a 50" tall child.
  10. There's no good that comes out of Rattler. There was a mechanic bolting on pieces of wood on the bottom of the helix structure while the ride was in operation. I'll never forget that sight. If Raptor is successful I can see lots of business opportunities for B&M.
  11. Pretty sure that should be a sin of some sort. I personally prefer the Giant Inverted Boomerang's over the Invertigos.
  12. I hate Revolution with a passion! Probably because of the OTSRs and the headbanging that's included. When were those added by the way?
  13. My mouth fell open after seeing these pictures. That ship is gorgeous!! Thanks for the pictures!!
  14. Good point. What I meant was train looks graceful going through the course. Haha bad choice of words.
  15. ^Hopefully not as rough on the outside seats.
  16. Jaguar is a great "beginner" coaster for kids
  17. That off-ride video makes this thing look smooth as glass
  18. ^^There might be a park in Southern California that learned this lesson the hard way.....
  19. It definitely could turn into another InTRimidator but we'll have to wait to ride it to judge. I'm personally not a fan of "post Werner-Stengel" B&M coasters.
  20. Makes the attorneys happy. I hate those damn seat belts! Checking the train at Jag and Zoom with those seat belts is a nightmare. Buckling all 28 seat belts @ Zoom all by your lonesome is NOT fun!
  21. Not bad.....Lookin' sexy
  22. It is a bit odd. Definitely the most themeing I've seen on any Boomerang. Still not sure if that's a good or bad thing......
  23. World's first Boomerang with on-board audio! Love how the wheel assembly is upside down on the train car display. Thanks for the photos.
