The iPad - Apple's Take On The Tablet Computer
DJeXeL replied to Wes's topic in Random, Random, Random
For someone who owns an Android phone and knows the "ins and outs" may appreciate the Xoom but for someone who owns an iPhone, they won't think twice about it. I like the Android software but the gripe I have is that it doesn't perform well out of the box. You have to know how to fine tune it to get it to operate decently. The Apple UI (User Interface) is so simple and universally understood. I already have the 1st gen iPad and I love it so probably won't be investing in the iPad2 just yet. -

^Agreed. The Xoom in terms of specs is comparable if not slightly better than the iPad 2 however, $799 is entirely too much. I'll save the $300 and get the iPad 2. Courtesy of Engadget What phone do you have? I have the Motorola Atrix 4g and so far I love it. -

^^Agreed. After riding Nitro, Intimidator was a severe disappointment. I:305 is a far superior ride even with the trims. -

Disneyland's Space Mountain was originally built by WED, but it was re-tracked by Vekoma. Hong Kong's Space Mountain was built entirely by Vekoma. I believe Magic Kingdom's Space Mountain(s) are the only ones that are still original WED tracks. Disneyland's Space Mountain's 2nd generation track was manufactured by Amec Dynamic Structures not Vekoma. But back on topic, Deja Vu is better now than it was in 2001

^You're right. Each Tatsu train was delivered with a different Nylon to Polyurethane wheel ratio. Nylon being harder than polyurethane provides a faster ride. Polyurethane's semi-soft characteristics provide slightly more resistance on the track rail thus having lower speed and G-forces. As you can see in the image below there's the 2 different types of wheels on this 1 train. Nylon wheels are white in color and polyurethane wheel can be a variety of colors but in this case they are a brownish color. Not sure if Intamin is doing this procedure with Cheetah Hunt's trains or not. Intamin seems to use Polyurethane on most of their newer coasters.

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

Well I understand your point however I didn't spend a whole lot of time in my room so didn't care and the Breaker's express wasn't that bad regardless. I've stayed in worse. The early entry however is an added perk in my opinion especially July/August when crowds are heaviest. The Platinum pass scenario didn't apply to me as I was a Cedar Fair employee at the time of my visit.
