  1. Wow, looks great! I wish this wasn't thousands of miles from me.
  2. HP was considering building a coaster in the kissing tower area (A mack spinning looper even, they told a PA newspaper) as well as the sunken gardens location before they decided on Skyrush, so I'd look there for future coaster expansion. http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2012/03/on_thrill_rides_like_hersheypa.html
  3. Usually weather forecasts are unreliable until about 3 days before.
  4. If this runs like the recent off-ride videos, I have no doubt that it will ride better than MF.
  5. It seems like it is rare in the industry for a park to order a forceful ride, and even more rare for them to order one from B&M.
  6. I assume for FOF at least, that must be the skin cells that the high speed ride whisked off of the guests
  7. Building rides on top of each other seems like a normal part of park development, but for some reason people around here are bugged by it.
  8. Those trains are amazing!
  9. I love the colors of Shambhala, but the Dragon Khan supports look ugly to me. I hope that this is the best of the speed coasters, Europe needs another great hyper. It certainly is large!
  10. Interested to read the reviews of this and Leviathan, see where the speed coaster is headed.
  11. It is about 30% wider than the i305 track, at I believe 4 feet. R.D. can correct me on the specifics...
  12. Not very important I guess, but 2600 square meters is 27,986 square feet.
  13. I love how one complaint always ends with 3 pages complaining about complaints .
  14. Looks like some more track has been going up, on the entrance to the first hill, and the exit of the second.
  15. There have been a lot of cables attached the the lift structure during construction, so it's hard to tell.
  16. I agree, and it should be quite a sight for those big trains to be bolting up it at ~18 mph.
  17. That would be horrible! I hope S:UF will stay a unique coaster. It's a small footprint shuttle by premeir, I'd bet they hope to build as many of them as they could sell.
  18. Nice to see some further layout developments after a long few weeks of lift-only work. The station is changing daily too! The comet hollow will be one energetic place with the lift, brakes, and dip into the brakes all so close to the walkway. Its not often you see the entrances to 3 coasters right next to each other, either. It's a bit strange to see this type of lift from this angle though, MF and i305 aren't visible from the lift-side of the station. That's where we'll be queuing too, I believe.
  19. www.fox43.com/videogallery/67735572/News/1-30-HersheyPark-Skyrush-Topping-Off The drawing I made for this thread Is the splash title for this news story!
  20. I was ready to accept any and all trims, but plans for none at all? This ride seems destined for hypercoaster royalty!
  21. From the webcam image, you can see how nuts the drop and first valley are! Edit: picture I found on twitter
  22. I like that the elaborate station is the focal point of the ride.
  23. Drachen Fire had one corkscrew removed as well.
  24. I think the whole ride will pop on a sunny day with spring/summer in full force. Grass, trees, and the full creek are going to do a lot more for the colors than winter does.
