  1. OMG, the cruel treatment of TPDave was hilarious! I've done the ride of shame, we've all been there. As for the parks, I love the look and feel of the smaller British parks, obviously I haven't been, but there seems to be a very laid back feel to it where here it's go, go, go, go!
  2. I like what I see so far, very well thought, and there's definitely effort put into it. I noticed your first shot of the boomerang cobra roll, you don't need the flat bit between it. I know some do this, but I'm not one of them. Can't wait to see more.
  3. Bit late, but I quite love Shane's pics on page 67 with Margate's Dreamland. I love how they called their Schwarzkopf 'Looping Star' when it's clearly a Silver Arrow.
  4. I've only ridden Dominator and thought highly of it.
  5. Great Zombie Jesus, you guys make it sound like this is happening at Fuji-Q...prior to this year's trip reports. I think this is great news, and will be a great addition to the park, or any park.
  6. Rudie, is officially my favourite poster on here. I know it's spam. But back onto the prefab, with the double down, did you play with the drop, flat version, drop ala Jack Rabbit? I'm sure with the length of the trains and the speed, you'll get some sweet injector air.
  7. I won't believe or get hyped with anything of Alton's until track starts showing up. Too bad they'll never get the Valley Woodie...I know, flogging a dead horse.
  8. ^I wondered that too...Still, I think maybe the height has alot to do with it. I'm no designer so i can't really say.
  9. Yeah, I discovered that last summer AJ while working on a nearly perfect version of Letliner using TPR footage. That turned me off to Vista even more. lol
  10. Hyyper, this one isn't too bad, very Anton-esque. Keep at it dude.
  11. I thoroughly enjoyed this coaster. I do think the mid course killed some of the momentum.
  12. Cheetah Hunt stacks too. So yes, I can see some stacking going on here. I'm sure EP know what they're doing here with marvel of a coaster.
  13. Chuck? What the hell's wrong with Ripple? Yes, it's not as bourgeois as French wine, but it still does the job, and at a cheaper price. All ribbing aside, I can not believe the Europa/Cedar fair comparisons...it just blows my mind...
  14. Lets Skycoaster Steve brag...the man's on a roll. Jeez, does anyone not know a hot streak when you see it. Stevem brag away, brother.
  15. They're pretty damned close, so that's freakin' awesome. Is it me, or does the cobra roll in the actual Katun have more of a snap to it? Can't wait to see the finished product.
  16. Deja Vy and V2 at SFGrAm...and they even rhyme too...huzzah!
  17. Exactly. The GP will go ride it regardless. And, if it turns out to be a GOOD ride, they will love it, regardless if it's very similar to the other ride across the park. That being said, I'm a person who prefers a bit more variety, and on top of that, hasn't been "wowed" by anything B&M has done lately. Of course, THAT being said, the only B&M hyper built in the past 10 years I felt was really notable was Behemoth. I will always reserve judgement on something until I ride it, but I can still have hoped that this ride would have offered more variety for the park. --Robb "Still betting this ride was originally meant for another CF park...." Alvey Robb, I wish more people thought like you about not passing judgment until they've ridden it.
  18. Should have added this myself: Totally agreed. A B&M giga is still a great thing. Exactly! A frakking B&M Giga for pete sake. I'm an Intamin fan boy, and I was impressed Walter and Claude took the dive. Still, some of the complaints remind me of a spoiled child complaining that his big Xmas gift wasn't what he wanted...
  19. La Ronde's Vampire and the SLC (name eludes me at the moment).
  20. I will admit i was a little underwhelmed from the layout, this was while I was looking for the video, and had the just like behemoth mentality. Then I watched the video, yes, they're both Beemers and are out and backs--this is where it ends. There's more elements to Levi than Behemoth. Now the question remians, will this be a fun ride, absolutely! Will I want to ride it? You bet your @$$ I do!
  21. Looking at the pics of the loop to Immelmann, to me, it almost looks Arrow-esque. Obviously, it was designed like that, and I've no experience in the field, but it just looks off to me.
  22. *Exactly! And don't even get me started on the third film, coming from a life long fan. Still, any Transformers ride is a good one.
  23. Holy hand grenade of Antiarch, John! I think Greenhouse surpasses everything else you've done, and the quality and the creativity has been top notch. I actually jumped when the plane smashed into the building.
  24. Kind of bummed it's a B&M...However, what it is, it'll be a hit, and at the end of the day, that's what counts. That said, I do hope it's a floorless. Ever since I rode Dominator at Geauga Lake, I was hooked on the floorless concept.
  25. What the hell is Starry Sky Ripper? As for if it's a Beemer, I too rule out the flyer, unless they're taking out Time Warp, but can not see that happening. That said, the Dive Machine would seem the most plausible. You can make them floorless, so that could nip two things right in the bud.
