  1. ^ I've never been Memorial Day, but it's probably insanely packed. The weekends after usually aren't too bad, but FastLane wouldn't be a bad option. It used to be dead on those weekends, but now there's usually moderate to slightly heavy crowds.
  2. Steel: Kingda Ka Wood: Son of Beast (with and without loop)
  3. ^ Hopefully next time the Jose Cuervo Express won't break down in the middle of the highway.
  4. Incredible Hulk is my favorite. Kumba is a close second.
  5. ^ That's not the worst I've experienced. A group of ACErs at CoasterMania 2011 tried to force me to leave the TTD queue because I didn't like Maverick. They told me I didn't deserve the greatness that was Intamin.
  6. Testing hasn't started at all on the ride, so it won't be opening for at least five to six weeks at the very earliest. I would bank on mid to late January at this rate.
  7. My list differs from many for that park. I've even included the defunct coasters I've ridden. Unfortunately, I've still yet to get the elusive Jr. Gemini. 1. Millennium Force 2. Magnum XL-200 3. Gatekeeper 4. Raptor 5. Mean Streak 6. Mantis (Disaster Transport) 7. Top Thrill Dragster (Wildcat) 8. Gemini 9. Blue Streak 10. Woodstock's Express 11. Wicked Twister 12. Iron Dragon 13. Cedar Creek Mine Ride 14. Maverick 15. Corkscrew Sorry guys, but I've never enjoyed Maverick. I've ridden it many times, and I've only had ONE ride where I didn't walk off with a killer headache from all of the times my head hits the restraints. Before anyone asks, I've ridden it in nearly every seat and all six trains. It's a ride I was so hyped up for when it was under construction and beat the crap out of me when I first rode it opening year. Shun me if you wish.
  8. At Canada's Wonderland last year during Leviathan Bash, we had to wait almost an hour for the boomerang with FastLane. I don't even want to know how long the poor souls in the regular line waited.
  9. ^ Same here. I actually really enjoyed my visit to the park last year. There were some places that weren't the greatest looking, but what park doesn't have that. I loved Great Adventure, and I'd love to go back again.
  10. I was at the park on Columbus Day, and I never noticed bees or a sign to warn about them.
  11. ^^ Maybe Six Flags America should have renamed Ragin' Cajun to be Dizzy Love and Whirling Passion. It would fit great into Mardi Gras, right?
  12. ^ Yes, they do. Why would you keep guests on the property if the park's not open? It's a waste of money to open those hotels during off-season unless there's something for them to do on the property.
  13. ^^ I've never found Alpengeist to be unbearable. I've ridden it many, many times and always found it to be mostly butter smooth. It's been my favorite invert for years.
  14. If Palace was smart, they'd put their money into the parks they currently own instead of letting them go down the tube to buy more.
  15. ^^ I saw Gatekeeper break down once during media day, but that was it. I think it was down for about 10 minutes.
  16. Ninja wasn't awful in the magic seat, but the front seat was atrocious. I'm fine with taking it out.
  17. ^ That's another "Shut up and take my money" tour!
  18. I'm so glad CP is renovating the Breakers. I love staying there, but it really needed it. The Bonair section was starting to get bad.
  19. I believe it was mentioned earlier in the thread that the park was hoping to soft open it this month, but it most likely wouldn't open until January.
  20. ^ I must have missed that. I don't think they did anything like that for TTD's 10 year anniversary, but maybe they're waiting on next year for 10 years of being open regularly. lol
  21. Worst line I ever waited in was for Face/Off (now Invertigo) at Kings Island back in 2006. The ride ops were having some sort of party while the ride was in operation. My friend and I literally waited almost an hour for a three train wait. I was so angry about it, that I refused to ride it againuntil last year.
  22. Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
  23. I remember back in 2007 when Son of Beast had its loop removed, it broke down 13 times during my one day visit. It probably broke down even more than that. Those were only the ones I had counted.
