Great report, I am super excited to see the 'finished' product of Disney Springs. I know it will be ever changing, but I think its safe to say the transition is significant enough to warrant a name change. Everything they have opened up is immersive, unique, and very Disney. I am excited for some more affordable quick service locations to open up. The full menu for Morimoto looks wonderful!

I have always wanted to be down there around the time this is going on. It obviously makes more financial sense for annual passholders than regular park guests (unless you are going for an extended time). How many portions do you think is reasonable to fill up the average person? Obviously, the name of the game is splitting and sharing things, but I was just curious to see the value/lack thereof. Great report!

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
Taylor Finn replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My University is offering a trip to Cedar Point October 11th with transportation and an all day drink wristband (total of $35). This is a Sunday. Will the crowds be tolerable? We leave super early so we have the whole day in the park to ride and then do Haunted Houses later on in the day. I assume Sundays are better than Saturdays, but how much so? -
So happy to finally have some game footage like this to react to. I really do hope this continues to improve like it has. I think the coaster editing could strike the perfect balance to allow for more flexibility while still being accessible enough to be user-friendly. I can be patient with the release date still not being announced, as long as they keep us in the loop (hah) with regards to their progress. Super happy to see this project back on track.

Pennsylvania Trek Help

Just a few quick insights. Lakemont has Leap The Dips, Skyliner (below average woodie) and a Toboggan, as well as a kiddie coaster you might be able to get on. The coasters and the Skydiver are about it. Hour or so tops, really. Delgrossos, as mentioned is worth it for the Drop Tower, food, and two credits (Wild Mouse and Wacky Worm). Idlewild you can get an evening pass discounted if that's what your timetable ends up as. The two coasters, the caterpillar (if it's open), Confusion Hill, and maybe the train are all worth doing. They have a lot of old flats, too! As for your night in Pittsburgh, there's always the incline up to Mount Washington. A cheap and unique way to see the city. Hope this helps! -
Lake Compounce Discussion Thread
Taylor Finn replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My family will be stopping by Lake Compounce either Saturday July 26th or Sunday July 27th. We plan to spend the morning/afternoon in New Haven and go to LC for their evening pass (after 5 I believe). The park is open until 10 Saturday and 9 Sunday. Do you think it best to go Sunday because of lighter crowds or Saturday for later hours? Is 4-5 hours enough time to work through the park? And I also can't find mention of the actual price for the evening pass online? -
First off, Dustin thank you for your donation! I sent you back $15 as well. I just registered and so did my girlfriend, Kylie, for Team TPR's Cedar Point team. This will be my 3rd year attending, 2nd year at Cedar Point. I am very excited about the different itinerary and to raise some money for a good cause! Kylie doesn't have an account here, but I am sure she would be very flattered by any donations! This charity means so much to me, especially after I had the pleasure of interacting with the mother of a wish child who had passed away about a year after their visit to the Village at the Cedar Point event two summers ago. Talking to her and hearing how incredible the week at GKTW was for her daughter and her family was simply incredible. Regardless of the unfortunate outcome for the young girl, the experience clearly provided them all with hope and joy, even if only for a week. The memory she has of her daughter was a strong and powerful one. I am so appreciative that I came to hear about this event and cause through TPR and wish everyone luck in reaching their goals!

Hello all! I'm gonna be heading with Pitts marching band to Fort Worth for our footballs team bowl game. We should have all day Thursday, New Years Day to ourselves so I planned on going to SFOT with some buddies. What kind of crowds should I anticipate? Also, is riding all the coasters (at the very least all but the kiddy) a reasonable thought? I think hours are 11-7 that day? Gameplan ideas? Finally, are Mr. Freeze and Batman both closed for the season?

Amusement Park Drive In!
Taylor Finn replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I am just checking this thread out now for the first time. It is very neat that they incorporate rides into the Drive In package. I can see from their Facebook page that they are still open and doing pretty well. Does anyone know the status of the Wild Mouse they had? I can't find pictures anywhere really of the rides at the park from recent. -
Adventureland Iowa photo trip report

Thanks for showing us a park not often seen. Pretty decently sized all things considered! -
Okay, so I'm going to the event with a friend who has not raised $1000. It won't be too helpful for one of us to have a fast lane. I was at KI last year, Im not too worried about what I get to ride outside the marathon. Will I be able to give the fast lane to someone else if I so choose? If that's the case, I would gladly trade it off for a donation to my page.
