They raised the prices of houses by a lot, so it's no longer worth it to have a house farm. However, if you have a lot of extra houses you can now sell them for some serious coin.

From Facebook page: I've done two three-person away missions and got chocolate bars both times. I would say focus on getting Mort and Chris before Deanna. Mort helps with the transporter energy and Chris is an extra body for the missions. And why oh why do they want me to send Peter on an April Fool's Day quest today? I need him collecting crystals!

Selfie shoes anyone? -
Buying Worf and the red shirt room helped. I should unlock Chris today and need only four chocolate bars to finish Deanna.
-
Yeah, unlocking Deanna feels like it will take forever if you don't shell out some real money to get those going. I'd be more willing to pay if we got to keep the Enterprise after the event ends.

The next part of the update is now available - warp core level 2. Working on unlocking Deanna Troi.

Got Spanish Peter just in time, only because they lowered the candy requirements.
-
Annoying, wish they'd make it clear that there's a timer once the building is done.

Yep, it wasn't too bad with John McClane. Fortunately the game has been generous enough with the clams that I have been able to get a few premium characters without spending real money.
-
The exception was the Yeti. If you weren't logging in almost every four hours it was hard to beat.
-
Finished the costume tonight, can't complain, seemed to take as long as most things to unlock in the game. I am happy at winning 100 clams courtesy of the leftover gingerbread men mystery box.

It might be tight, hopefully there will be a bit of extra time at the end. I find I'm actually running low on bottled elves to shoot. I should get the train today.

I have a little hedge maze/spiral in the center of my town, and the center is the only place I have any street tiles. The snowmen and Santa all congregate there, but the shoppers only do so occasionally for some reason. Does the trick in any case.

Bonus donuts on offer from Gil for the next two days (gotta get all those people who got iTunes cards for Christmas) but no second round of Christmas prizes yet.

The only thing bugging me right now is the overlap, where I want characters to be in two places at once. Lois and John McClane both have unfinished quests because I have to keep them on the Yeti all the time in order to maintain my progress there. I almost have enough materials for Jesus so I can hopefully let them finish their quests shortly. I do like how generous this game has been with free clams. I have a couple of those premium characters and have yet to spend real money. Better than Tapped Out in that regard.

I've played very steadily during this update and got the nativity yesterday. That includes playing for a few minutes in the middle of the night if I happened to wake up (I haven't gone so far as to set an alarm, yet). Time frames are definitely a bit tight on this one.

What I slightly disliked about this finale, and have felt the same way about previous seasons, was the final challenge. I think the final challenge should involve a co-operative effort between both team members. I also feel the final challenge is too different compared to the rest of the race. It often ends with this type of complicated mental activity that is so much more challenging than what has come before. Not to say that the final challenge should be a cake walk, but it feels a bit off that the teams that dominated throughout the race under performed in the end.

A great season and a truly satisfying finale. It was nice to see idols actually change the course of the game several times. Always nice to see a deserving winner.

Gil is offering hourly deals, in the form of a donut rebate. Right now if you buy Sheri and Teri you get, I think, 40 donuts back. You can scroll through the offers to see what and when will be discounted going forward.

Could be a tie in with Sunday's episode. On the positive side, our Springfields can now have two strip clubs. Freddy appeared in the fifth season episode "The Boy Who Knew Too Much".

I did the one nerd per town last night, mostly houses, and got about 3000 elixir this morning. My theory is to look for towns with several unfixed buildings, suggesting those players don't log in very often.
