  1. Boy, you like to get there early. You know it. The park staff don't know I there but what they don't know won't hurt them... JK, I meant 11am LOL.
  2. I imagine that KD maintenance will "spiffy" uo the cars and use them for front gate promotional items.
  3. First of all, When coming to WIlliamsburg to visit, Colonial WIlliamsburg is a must. You will never find another exprience like it. I also Recommend going to the Jamestown Settlement which is 20 minutes down the road from CW. Also worth it! Second, Busch Gardens is not a large park. It doesn't not have alot of attractions though its quality is near that of Disney. it is recommended to take an entire day to go to the park. Not a few hours, in the middle of the summ you will need most f the day to get the full exprience. I usually go to the park around 1am though there will be alot of traffic at the parking gate. start with Scotland and rotate around toward France and continue in that direction. Go to all the shows, they are all worth it. By that rate you should be close to the Festhaus by 2 to 3pm. This is a great place to have lunch. Best in the park (though I love eating in San Marco). continue until back in england. There should be a few hours before park closure (10pm) and will give you time to head back to your favorite coasters before evenings end. For night rides, I recommend Aplinegeist and Loch Ness Monster. Griffon and Apollo are too brightly lite for my taste. The quick queue is nice when there are unbearable lines... Don't buy them until you have gone on a few rides and deemed that you wish to have them. They only give front row rides on Griffon, a choice of the litter on Loch Ness, and second row rides on Aplie and Apollo. It all depends on the crowd. I've always found it fun when I had a quick queue to wait in line first, ride then go back to the exit for a quick queue ride. Pretty nice. For other attractions around Williamsburg there are a few, Water Country is nice but nothing next to Blizzard Beach, Yorktown Victory Center is ok. Not much to look at. The President's Park is for "presidental fans" really (just a bunch of busts) The Outlets of WIlliamsburg have great shopping as does Merchant's Square (if you got the moola). And then on the outskirts of town is Go Kart Plus (it has it's own credit!) Hope this helps. KDCM
  4. It's not going to open. Nobody is really looking to place a significant investment into this.
  5. KD has begun the pull-through on I305. Small black object at the top of the lift...
  6. Kings Dominion has alot of those "defunct" quirks. Like stated before, the station for Haunted River remains, and much of the original trough after the drop. I few Things I have noticed over the years was that the old concrete pad that had Scrambler on it is still there On International Street. I've heard a good portion of the rails for the Old Dominion Rail is still at KD. The Old Skyride station (Kidzville side) is used for the Kidz Construction Company now. Some of the original footers for King Kobra Still sit under Anaconda. When walking to Grizzly, you can see where the old ODL track was, It's now a strip of Asphault. And then there's Hypersonic... The station and the track still remain at the park...
  7. While we are waiting for a pic of the trains... KDfan at KDfansite has made a comtimplation of all of the past updates and events of Intimidator 305's construction! Intimidator 305 Timeline
  8. ^ Thank god somebody agrees with me!
  9. BTW, Kings Dominion has confirmed that the trains have arrived at the park. Pics will come soon.
  10. I saw this, this morning couldn't resist to posting it. Sunrise over Kings Dominion
  11. Must Have Done Something Right - Relient K
  12. Carowind's Facebook is stating that the first train has already completed +100 test cycles.
  13. Yeah, I consider BGW one of my home parks and I thought of BBW as my least favorite coaster at the park. I never realized what I had until.. she was gone. On the topic of new additional coasters. Do you think it is possible that Magic Mountain would be looking to go for height again? MM has a standing relationship with B&M (4 coasters), a fifth is high percentage probability. I am a big B&M supporter, but I would love to see the park invest in some type of Intamin coaster. Out and Back Giga! ( Don't yell at me)
  14. The second perspective was really cool. I would like to see a few other views of the coaster.
  15. I would like the Mountain to bring in some type of Intamin Rocket along the lines of Storm Runner. I think that design really didn't get drawn out enough and MM doesn't have that many lauch coasters (Superman: The Escape being the sole). I think the park could benefit with such an attraction. I know LA already has Xcelorator but it also has two B&M Inverts.
  16. ^ Great Pictures. If I had access, I would post my recent pictures of Big Bad Wolf. I wonder why they tore Shockwave down?
  17. ^ I do say that RED/YELLOW would be too redundant. (but that hasn't stopped Dick Kinzel).
  18. Orlando United has posted an aerial update of High Rez Photo's of the construction.
  19. Sadly it did. Dear John with 32 million and Avatar with 23 million. I didn't think that the movie would had been knocked down this weekend. I was expection next with Valentine's Day Weekend with Wolfman and Valentine's Day
  20. Intimidator is testing again today. EDIT: Wormy of Carowinds has posted a webcam video of the testing today.
  21. The design looks amazing. The architecture really stands out.
  22. Lift Hill of Intimidator 305. Colored Red! The red makes all the difference!
  23. Well... I think it is sorta self explanitory.
  24. Who here is a fan of Soundtracks? If you are, Favorite Composer? Favorite Score? I am a James Horner fan! Enemy at the Gates, Avatar and of course Titanic...
