Alice in Wonderland is quirky, bizarre adventure. I enjoyed it for its underlying story and the acting in the film. The characters lived up to the original characters of the book(s). 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

To a trip to the best park in the South, Adventure Mountain! I noticed a few new things around the park from last year... A new shop was built at the exit of the General Lee. This new building filled the visual hole that the Confederate Nation section had. I also noticed that behind a fence they had been moving dirt... ...a whole lot of dirt... ...as seen from atop the Seminole. I heard from a ride operator that something big is coming to the park in 1980. Some kind of new coaster. He definitely said it was unique and would be the tallest in the park. Let's find out soon!

I am very happy for you BGT, you finally accepted the fact that Gwazi stunk and it needed a new twist on things. This will improve Gwazi without a doubt.

cara, Opening day will be pretty busy for the I305. But, most people in the Richmond area don't know that the park opens on April 2ND. Mostly they only know that KD is getting Intimidator 305. I trust other than coaster enthusiasts, the park will not have a large crowd. I will be at the park on Friday as well, not until the afternoon. Other than I305 most lines will be moderately long. As for XLC and Backwards, the park officially states they were removed for "unpopularity" though it has been highly speculated that XLC was removed for unreliability and high maintenance costs. It is believed that backwards was removed for safety reasons by the manufacturers (PTC).

I like and dislike this idea for Texas Giant renovations. Hopefully if this renovation is successful then more coasters which need new renovations could do procedures like this... *cough* Mean Streak *cough*

Going to a theme park in mid-June is so sweet! And lucky me I got to got to my favorite park, Adventure Mountain. this will be my last update of 1978, looking forward to '79! Good Morning, Seminole! A good picture of it's back half. Did I mention I got to ride with the maintenance crews! Here is the parks Operations/ Human Resources Office! They have a really big warehouse tucked into the front of the park. The first stop we made was the top of Sky Drop, our parachute drop ride. Escape from Calamity Mine looks so small from up here We made a quick stop to brake run of General Lee La Mosquito through the tunnel! We got to poke around the Seminole for awhile Across the Lake! Looking down from the back turn of Seminole Awesome that the coaster was still running! While standing on the end-of-ride tunnel. (All Behind-the scenes photos are taken at the expense of the Adventure Mountain staff and only allowed if by permission.) After my behind-the-scenes tour I got to ride some of my favorite rides. Here's Charge! in the Confederate Nation. I love the theming. One final shot of Seminole as I was leaving the park at sunset.

Talent! What kind of camera do you have?

Storm Runner got my neck a few times in that side-to-side motion it does toward the end near the brake run but otherwise I had no problem with the OTSR. I found the lapbar part of the OTSR a little less restricting than the Lapbars of the lap restraints like on S:ROS at SFAm. I'm 6' 4". It was difficult at best to "fit" comfortably in the lapbars on that coaster. I can only imagine the pain I will go through when i go to CP and ride Millie and Top Thrill. Just hard to imagine that I will ride this beast in a month's time!

Volcano, though probably in my top five coasters, has become a forgotten commodity to me. If the line is over 10 minutes it's not worth the wait when I can ride Anaconda with no line. Other than the launches, Volcano's flight around the mountain is rather to those who have previously ridden it. If you have not ridden Volcano, It is worth riding, just not waiting over 30 minutes for, which happens quite often. Flight of Fear is overrated. Yes it has a 55 mph launch. In the dark. With four inversions. But age has not treated this coaster well. Other than the front row car, it is a rough son of a gun. It is fun but with a rib hurting cost.

^ I love using custom supports but I have a preference for some of the natural supports of RTC3. This update is only the beginning. It only gets better!

This is ridiculous . That is the only word to describe that "lawsuit." SFI should have the right to remove/ add any of their property. Rides like Chang and T2 should remain in SFI hands. These Kentuckians are just trying to make a quick buck.

Though I not a fan of the wettness factor... I look foward to riding this beast of a Log flume in MAY!
