^I don't think B&M designed the entire ride with the zero car in mind. From the article, it sounds like that the zero car was a last minute addition? And, I've never seen a 9 row B&M... The weight might be too much, especially for the speed of Alpengeist. BTW, anybody been to BGW lately? Any Der Fallinfast news?

^ That's it... Let me shut up now... All I want to see is small internal improvements like removing old asphalt and putting down brick and renovating bathrooms. Nothing big. If I'm correct, Anaconda's paint wasn't finished before 305 opened just due to they didn't have enough time. I believe they have the paint ready but have to wait until the season over. And Robb, I've ridden 305 to my hearts content and don't expect anything "big" for a few years.

^ Then they will be coming to KD Oh, I'm just kidding. The only for sure thing I can say for the 2011 season is the Anaconda's start-but-not-finished paint job will be finish in the off-season. Otherwise. KD is probably getting diddly-squat.

I believe KD and Carowinds are both getting... - Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular - Possibly Rockband Tour - Possibly a new show in their Action Theaters For KD: - Rebel Yell, a continuation of it off-season rehabs - completion of Anaconda's paint job - a possible Ricochet paint job - a possible Shockwave paint job. - a possible Drop Tower paint job. - more walk way replacements (asphalt to brick) - new show in the Kings Dominion Theater For Carowinds: - new paint on Ricochet - walkway replacement continuation As for Michigan Adventure and California's Great America, I can't say much. Though Cedar Fair does keep up with these parks, from what I've heard they don't produce revenue like the other parks aforementioned.

The "Pointless Bridge" use to be apart of the Day of Thunder queue... It's useless nowadays. And the Volcano "coaster track" is the old Smurf Mountain ride. I wish I could have been at East Coast Bash this year but events (including school) have conspired against me.

I don't really have a say in this as I'm 35 mins from KD and 45 mins from BGW... but... Daytona Beach could use a small park like Kemah Boardwalk...

Sure, they could've gone the extra 10Ft and beaten MF, but would the 10ft had made an actual difference to the ride? . To 305... Yes! 10 feet would had made it even more insane...

ok... Cedar Point x3 Carowinds x2 Busch Garden Williamsburg x22 Kings Dominion x18 and still going to KD x1 and BGW x3, this year.

I love the overview as well. How do you get the pathcovers to not "fade" in the draw distance?

I guess I am one of the lucky few that has ridden Python! I got a credit before Robb and Elisssa! (of course the fact I got to Go Kart Plus every year doesn't make a difference.)

All I can say is alot of stars are lining up for Canada's Wonderland: 1. It's been 3 years since their last large capital investment (Behemoth) 2. It's easily the most visited CF park. (beats out CP every year) 3. It's coaster line is not great, but its good. 4. I heard CP "announced" their planed spending on capital investments in Q2 (don't know if that right). If I'm correct they were planning for 85 million... - There is about 50 million extra after plotting in the additions of Planet Snoopy to Valleyfair an Michigan Adventure... with the two (or possible three) StratoSoars going to Cedar Point and Knott's Berry Farm (and possibly Canada's Wonderland) that would leave around 30 to 35 million left over. Ther "pic" is plausible and I won't rule it out. I have my doubts on the rumored height and speed but wouldn't downplay a possible Intamin Accelerator. We'll know Tuesday. (What I will say though is that CP, KBF, and CWL are ALL revealing their new rides on the same day... If it was going to be a groundbreaking coaster, then wouldn't it have it's on Announcement Day. Makes me feel like CF wants to announce all its StratoSoars on the same day.
