  1. Agreed. And I'm beginning to doubt the story of "this park is already completed I can't change anything." But it is completed. I regret it though, because you know why? I feel like I'm going through the motions with each update, I feel like with my next park because I'm planning on building it totally by scratch and updating while it's being built is going to be more fun and interesting to do. =======================================================================================================Year:2010
  2. This actually looks like a pretty badass coaster! I love the way the Norwegian Loop looks. But I'm really starting to wonder, Is MACK trying to be like Intamin? I'm not saying that MACK is ripping off Intamin totally, I'm only saying this because this ride looks extremley Intamin-esque with the latticework track and the trains. You could give me the whole spiel about how Schwarzkopf basically "made" Intamin into what it is today. And I might be kind of prejudiced in the fact that I've always associated MACK with Wild Mouse and Kiddie coasters.
  3. Year:2009 Hello, There has been a bit of a discrepancy about what is currently going on with Flight Of Fear. I had posted the picture of Flight of Fear being removed on CoasterInsider.net and people were assuming that Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania had bought the ride even though the park wasn't shut down. I had written a complaint letter to Cedar Fair about how they didn't even announce that Kings Paradise was going to remove Flight of Fear and today I got a response back. Here is some good news, The coaster itself is actually NOT closing forever. It is currently being dismantled, but not demolished. They can't give many details right now, but the ride will reopen, but not in the same location at the park. I will update again when they make an official announcement. I just hope CF is right, because the ride is totally gone. Track peices were found just outside the Olde Fronteir section of the park.
  4. Honestly, I hope this isn't a sign that Paramount is going to buy back Kings Dominon, Kings Island, Carowinds, Great America and Canada's Wonderland. Cedar Fair has done such a good job taking care of those parks.
  5. From a Long Islander's point of view this is freakin awesome! I hope to get on it when it opens! Even though I wish they would do some more revitalization of Coney Island (AKA Zamperla Land)
  6. You're going to have to wait an see what happens... =======================================================================================================Year:2009 I was recently given permission by Cedar Fair to take some off-season pictures of Kings Paradise for my favorite coaster fan site, CoasterInsider.net. Here are two of the most "memorable" pictures that I have taken of the park as it prepares for next year. They had re-routed the tarmac path and completley fenced off the entrance to Steel Python. I'm sorry to say but by the looks of things, Steel Python isn't going to reopen. I think the coaster is done, if by some miracle Vekoma will able to renovate the ride, that's great but I don't think it's gonna happen. And............. You gotta be f*cking kidding me. They're taking out Flight of Fear!!!! Kings Paradise is REMOVING Flight of Fear. What the hell is going on?! What the hell are those sons of bitches even THINKING??!?! Flight of Fear is one of the greatest coasters in the whole park!! It's still incredibly popular to this day!!! This decision is SO asanine it's not even funny. I'm sorry but stupid decisions like this that amusement park companies make get me so steamed. And not to mention that they didn't even say they were going to remove it, not CoasterInsider, nor CoasterForce or Theme Park Review gave any news that Flight of Fear was to be removed! R.I.P Star Trek-The Ride/Joker's Jinx/Flight of Fear, killed by the hands of corperate idiocy. You will be sorely missed.
  7. I will admit this park was a rush job, but I promise you. My next park I'm making completley from scratch. Techically both rides came from different parks, Batman (now Vampire) came from a park in Denmark, and Raging Tempest uses track from Double Loop from Geauga Lake. The bad economy didn't really get bad until 08, which in turn forced SF to sell Kings Paradise. NightFire came from one of my favorite games from my childhood, 007 Nightfire for Gamecube. =======================================================================================================Year: 2009 Hello! It's so nice to see that my favorite park was saved! I hope Cedar Fair really does good with the park! Wood vs. Steel! Z-Force vs Thunderstrke! Even with the new colors, Z-Force is still an undeniable classic! I still can't believe the old Parachute Drop is still here, there's only a handful of them still around today! I think that a historical society in Laramie is keeping this ride open. Flight of Fear (I still call it Star Trek) is giving thrilling rides as usual! It was my first launched coaster and I still think that this is one of the best in the park! NightFire is still my absoute favorite though, from its thrilling overbank after the 0-70 mph launch To the Immelmann that erupts from the mountain! Sadly though...I've been hearing rumors that the 20 year old Steel Python is on it's last legs. The ride looks horrible, it dosen't look like its been repainted in about ten years, and its been getting more and more slow paced and rough due to constant neglect, in fact after one of the drops, the track literally warped due to deterioration, causing a painful pump. Its so sad what this once great coaster turned into On a lighter note, NightFire closes about an hour early so they could do the all new "Eruption in the Sky" fireworks display! An assortment of different mortars and fountains were mounted to the top of NightFire's mountian, but built far enough away to not cause any damage to the ride! It looked so beautiful! Not only that, but a laser light show was put on by Raging Tempest!
  8. Ok....how on God's green earth did you get those rides to look so damn sexy?! The SLC looks JUST like No Limits! Is it some sort of mystic, voodoo supernatural CFR?
  9. OMGWTFBBQSAUCE! ======================================================================================================= Year: 2009 CEDAR FAIR!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!
  10. I like the enterprise the best, but I must admit, I LOVE the sound the Bayernkurve makes when its at full speed, its similar to the sound when a Boomerang goes up the first tower. Its a shame that so few still operate.
  11. Well thats an intresting...and somewhat depressing way to start an RCT3 park..It looks very good through! The Schwarzkopf looks great from where I'm standing.
  12. LOL if only real life parks could work like RCT, we would't need mechanical platforms for Floorless coasters, we'd teleport into our seats XD Thanks for the advice, but unfortunatly custom buildings are my achillies heel when it comes to RCT3, I can build stations with ease, but sadly...I just can't get a building to look right Well, the Steelworx I used for some of the coasters counts as CS...right? My second park I'll try to make the train have more undulations. ======================================================================================================= Year: 2008
  13. You do realize that the park wouldn't be Paramount anymore if this was in 2014. It would be Cedar Fair. Anyways, nice job!
  14. Year: 2008 Hi....It's Robbie again.....Lets just say that I would never predict the day I would say that I hate my favorite park. But my experience with Paramounts Kings Paradise, oh excuse me, SIX FLAGS THRILL CITY was so bad today...I was supposed to be there from dusk to dawn, I left within a few hours of coming there. I will now tell you what mad this trip so bad for me. I arrived there around 9:40 when the park opens it's gates, excited for what was supposed to be a day of fun and excitement. The parking lot did not seem crowded at all, but inside the park was a different story. A giant meatwall of people, the paths were so disgusting, garbage was all over the place, throw up was all over the place and it stank SO bad, I was ready to heave up in sympathy. The first ride I went on was Renegade, the line was incredibly slow and I could see people litterally pushing past other people rudley and cutting in line, making the wait even LONGER. I eventualy got on after a 1hr 45min wait The second ride, Z-Force, I mean Superman-Ride Of Steel was honestly not much better, still people cutting in line, slow queue... I got on after 1hr 10mins of waiting, still the same old ride despite new paint. Then I realized, they weren't cutting in line, they were utilizing the "Flash Pass" ride reservation system to literally allow you to cut in line! Now, I wouldn't mind that, if it didn't make the regular line so god damn SLOW! Raging Tempest had a 3 hour wait. I was NOT waiting three hours to ride a coaster, even if it is a classic reborn, like the Raging Tempest coaster. And also, the new sleek Vekoma made trains with lap bars instead of OSTRs still havent arrived yet, so for the time being, they used the rarely-used third train from Steel Python, I didn't even know Steel Python even HAD a third train. And to top off the ensemble of my horrible day? By around 3:30PM it began to hurricane. And every coaster shut down, not even Venom Rail, excuse me VIPER operated, and that's the one coaster that operates during rain back when the park was Paramount. But if there was a good thing that came out of this horrifyingly bad trip, its that Batman Knight Flight the B&M Invert that was built last year was pretty friggin awesome! Too bad the wait to get on was about 45 minutes... Six Flags, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. Kings Paradise used to be the pride of Wyoming. Now its even more dirty and ghetto than its ever been. I'm sad to say but this once 5 star park now only gets 2 stars from me.
  15. Was the Westboro Baptist Cult...I mean Church there? I just have to say this. It really pisses me off when people, especially Christians, act so judgmental toward people. There's this little thing people should know about called acceptance. Six Flags wants to put on a Gay Day. Good for them! Gays are human beings just like everyone else and don't deserve to be treated like that. Now, I'm not gay, but I understand how much pain gays can go through regularly. I so agree with everything you just said. The Bible Belt of the US is the absolute HARDEST place to find acceptance if you're LGBT, But there are some good Christians out there that say "Don't worry (insert LGBT person's name here), Jesus loves you." Very few of them, but they exist. Watching a doc on an openly gay bodybuilder is what really opened my eyes, gays are people, not abominations. Too many people still think they're all destined to an eternity to Hell, while there are reports of gays having NDEs were they experienced love, peace and comfort, not pain and suffering.
  16. Was the Westboro Baptist Cult...I mean Church there?
  17. Year: 2008 Well, even though I don't really like that Six Flags is basically repackaging old rides as new, I do like the way this looks! I'm probably going to take a trip this summer, seeing as how I didn't go last year.
  18. God, if the wood was in THAT bad of condition, I can easily see why they didn't give it steel track...Hell, I don't even think reopening was even an option.
  19. Is it going to be like an Impulse coaster or will it be like Tornado or Volcano The Blast Coaster?
  20. This looks absolutley freakin gorgeous and realistic I love how Goliath looks so far.
  21. What were you expecting?(out of curiosity) It's just a swing ride. Except much taller. I like Windseekers, They're nice chill-out rides after hours of riding coasters Its kind of like Iron Dragon at Cedar which is a good chill-out coaster and an awesome starter non-kiddie coaster for kids. I'm kind of hoping that Michigans Adventure and the other CF parks that don't have them getsa slightly smaller 201 ft tall variant of the ride, because they're actually not bad rides at all.
  22. Guys, he said numerous times that this park is done, and he's working off what he did as he went through. He can't change much of it now. That being said, and I've said this a THOUSAND times, these are all games. Each of us play them for our own enjoyment. Some just make silly parks without much effort, others strive to create hyper realistic parks. It is what is is. You can offer constructive criticism, but that doesn't mean it'll be taken. The creator may be very happy with what he's got. I do thank all of you for being considerate and polite in all of your remarks. In the past, this would have turned ugly. Well, thank you for sticking up for me, you really didn't need to do it but thanks anyways! Once my second park gets going, I'll be much more open to outside suggestions. I will admit that I painted myself into a corner by building this park, THEN uploading it. ======================================================================================================= Year: 2007
  23. Well..Idk why you don't think that Jokers Jinx is an appropriate "new name" for Star Trek, seeing as how they are both outdoor LIM bowls. Thanks anyway Well, to be honest...I feel like a good park has to have some sort of story behind it. And the fact that the park was already made ahead of time dosen't help me either my next park will be constructed as it is updated. Thanks for the advice though. Well, my main inspiration was not Six Flags, it was mostly Kings Dominion and Dorney Park. I'm trying to fix my update schedule to fit in with school, which means that once my second park gets going, I DEFINETLY won't be rushing it. Thanks! Ok! Thanks for the help, Even though I do like it, I still wish I would have paid more attention to the details. I am not really statisfied with how Steel Python (the red and green Arrow looper) came out, It almost looks too unique in my opinion. ======================================================================================================= Year: 2007 Pre-season This looks very thrilling and I can't wait to ride this, but I would like to point out that Batman Knight Flight is actually NOT a new roller coaster, It's actually about 11 years old. Batman Knight Flight was first built in 1996 at a theme park in Denmark named Adventure World Gardens, there it was known as the "Gladiator" and was built in the "Rome" section of the park. At the time, it was the biggest Inverted coaster in the world before Alpengeist was built at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Here is a picture of it taken circa 2002. Adventure World Gardens went bust in 2006 and CoasterInsider got word that Gladiator was going to be built at an American park, they initially thought that Patriot at Worlds Of Fun was going to be Gladiator, but it was a custom made ride. And now we have confirmation that It's going to be rebuilt at my home park!
  24. "Mother fudger?" Are you kidding me?
