^Thank god, I'm sick of hearing about the Patriots. Two weeks between games is just too long. Bring on the draft already.

Hersheypark Announces Fahrenheit!

Since some track and supports are already up, let's hope we have some pictures this week. -
Heck, I'm more interested in how much of an idiot Goodell sounded like today than I am the Super Bowl. His explanations of why he destroyed the Spygate tapes was a joke. ...Cover up anyone.

^Don't worry, liking the movie puts you in the majority in this thread.

Andy Shine's Quiz Time
alpengeist04 replied to Simon Baynham's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
7/10 That's about my average score on any of these quizzes. -
^^I've noticed that too, about the operations. I was pleasantly surprised when all the coaster were running when I went back on Jan. 15th, and shocked when the Rhino Ralley was actually working. It was the first time I actually was able to do the water part. Now I'm wondering when they will have any of the coasters down for yearly maintenance.

I don't know what to say. While it does seem like normal teenager behavior, it's still concerning. I know one thing, I'm not going to label her a slut because of this. Here's hoping she stays on the right path in the future.

Link I'm excited to see them re-imagine Freddy Krueger as long as Rob Zombie is not involved. I was never really into Freddy films until the HHN house this year which actually scared me. I more excited about this news: Odette Yustman!!!

Mitch Hawker's Steel Poll

LOL. I'm sure there will be a few, but it seems people are more passionate about the El Toro versus Voyage war. ...or should I say ridiculous. -

I do love favorite lists, so here goes. 1.Roger Moore- may not be the best but i grew up with him, so he gets the top spot on my list. 2.Sean Connery 3.Pierce Brosnan 4.Timothy Dalton 5.George Lazenby Now I'm waiting for this upcoming movie before ranking Daniel Craig, but if he's as good as he was in the last movie, he'll be right behind Connery on my list. -

It wouldn't surprise me if you and others were part of the reason for the webcam. Since they did that promotion leading up to the coaster announcement, we know they have some interest in the coaster community and what they think. -

I agree, the launch to the top of the first hill was the best part. ...everything else was down hill literally. -

Oh well, that was one of the reasons I went back to KD in June, to get one last ride in. ..oh and I needed the Stunt Coaster credit too. -
CGA's Flight Deck STRIKES BACK!!!

Much better name. I'll give Cedar Fair a little credit here, at least they finally realized how crappy a name Flight Deck was. -

^I think he's just showing us that he screwed up his list, though I may be wrong. -
Going to IOA-Tampa Bay-Kissimmee florida skycoaster
alpengeist04 replied to rolercstrluvr's topic in Ask Alvey
Get to both parks early, I can't stress that enough. Just read R&E's latest Florida TR and you'll know what I'm talking about. It will be in the middle of spring break, so I'm sure it will be busy. IOA- The Hulk and Spiderman are always good rides to hit early, then make your way back to Dueling Dragons. The front on Ice and the back on Fire are the best, IMO. Also, make use of the single rider line later in the day if you want to ride Spiderman again. Remember, as the day gets warmer, the lines for the water rides get longer, so keep that in mind too. BGT- SheiKra is always good to hit first. If you get there early, you should be able to ride it several times before a line forms. Also, hitting Kumba in the back of the park early will give you several rides too without waiting. -
Robb, Elissa, & Kristen's Epic Holiday Adventure
alpengeist04 replied to SharkTums's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I'm a back row guy myself, but I still think it's a slight improvement having the floorless trains on SheiKra. Oh and I agree that the floorless trains work much better on Griffon, but I still like the back the best on that ride too. -
Gotta love all the hate in this thread.

Wicked does deliver some nice airtime on the first drop, unfortunately after the MCBR the ride is pretty much over. -

Glad to see Daniel Craig back again as Bond. I really enjoyed his performance in Casino Royale. -
Thanks for the heads up, I really enjoyed that movie. Well, I went to see Cloverfield for a second time and enjoyed it even more this time around. ...maybe the shaky camera is growing on me. 8.5/10

Silverwood Discussion Thread
alpengeist04 replied to Damien666's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Like a few have mentioned, I too believe there were better coasters they could have purchased, but oh well. I wish Silverwood the best of luck with this coaster and here's hoping it's operating when i visit in 2009.
