Saw a little fair setting up for the weekend in the JC Penny Parking lot at the Valencia Town Center. Looks like there's a Roll(rock, whatever!) o Plane, some basic flats, Ferris wheel, and a POWERED KIDDIE COASTER! It was a carnival operator I didn't recognize and the powered kiddie was definitely different than the other CA fair coasters I've seen. So basically, if you're heading to SFMM, or you're just a credit whore in the area, go Check it Out! I'll probably ride it just in case I ever get sad and pathetic enough to count powered coasters! I'll do a Photo TR at some point!

I think there's a teacher shortage everywhere! In fact, I've considered becoming a Substitute teacher out here a few times! All you need is a Bachelors Degree and to pass the CBEST (kind of like a dumbed down SAT for adults) and you're in! It pays $108/day, and you can pretty much always get work! Plus when teachers and schools start to like you, you can get a longterm deal where they then have to pay you a real teachers salary!

I have an Xtreme Pass as well, I think you guys are a bit confused on the wording. There will be 4 Separete events before the park opens in the morning. Probably an 8am - 10am ERT sort of thing on Tatsu. This will probably take place this Summer or Fall. It is 'pre-park opening' not 'pre-ride opening'. The events could all take place in December for all we know! Does that clear everything up about that? As for the Flight Passes, remember it says on them 'once the ride is open to the public'. Monday thru Friday, before June 30. So I'm guessing the first opportunity to use them would be Friday, April 28. Hope this helps! Robb and I will be at the event by 5pm at the latest on Wednesday, April 26 to get all of our TPR people checked in!

I've actually found the Non-Profit world to be quite well paying with lots of room for advancement...you sure you want to leave? Is there a better position you can get once you have your degree?

There's a special resort guest entrance into Europa and all we had to show was our key to use it early in the morning. As for the rooms, we stayed in the Castillo, in a '4-bed' room. It had two separate rooms, two bathrooms and 4 single beds that were about twin size. It was awesome! I believe when I looked last year they also had '3-bed' room options. Are these not available anymore? I thought that the Castillo and El Anduluz were VERY similar, the Colosseo was the only really different hotel. Hope this helps a bit!

Yeah I'm gonna have to go with Ted here. Have you driven around WDW lately? They have SOOOOO much land!!! This little bit is not a big deal, but if Disney does ANYTHING in Florida it's major news.

He's from Virginia so I'm guessing he wants to get a bit farther away. What about Toronto? Not the best park, but lots of credits, cool buildings, and maybe a trip to the Niagara Falls area. Seriously though, if you want to go to SFMM, go, you'll still have fun.
