Just getting caught up on all of these since we were away for Christmas!!! This is so awesome, can't wait for next year!

Just had enough drops from the Europe Trip to open it back up again...get that spot now! It won't stay open long!!!!

Love the Chip and Dale float in the Christmas Parade. They have rodent snow men and throw snowballs!!!

Just got back from a fabulous cruise on the Jewel of the Seas! It was the smallest ship we've sailed on in about 7-8 years, but was still a ton of fun and got us really excited for the new class of ships Royal Caribbean is building as they're supposed to be bigger versions of this ship!

Anyone going to the parks this week has no right to bitch/complain/talk bad anything about the parks being crowded. It's Christmas New Years. Unless you've been living under a rock everyone on earth knows that the parks are super busy this week. Done.

It's up to you if you think Quick Queue is worth it or not. If you like the coasters a lot and want to get more than one or two rides each without waiting and don't visit the park too often, then I'd say of course it is!

I think you need both nowadays. I agree, I love the old style tube shoots. Anyone remember the old Barratuba at Adventure Island? It was awesome! We're losing more and more of these around the country and it's a lawsuit issue. More people got hurt on these type of slides which is why you see more parks getting the safer (and easier to maintain) new slides. There is obviously a way to take care of these old slides and not kill guests but very few parks are willing to do that.

Wow, that's really sad to see it finally bite the dust after being saved so many times. Bombay blasters was both amazing and terrifying. Crazy that it seems like they're not trying to save or sell much at all!

^Were you on the trip where Kings Dominion compared themselves to Disney? Seriously though, everyone knows Disney and they're kind of in the same business so that's why you'll always see the comparison being made...you just won't see Disney beat!

The drop tower in Timbuktu or Egypt has been a rumor for over 10 years now! Someday it will happen, but I'm not holding my breath!

As Brandy mentioned earlier, KT and her girls had their own gift exchange and KT got her stuff in the mail today! She loved everything, especially the cards the girls made! The biggest hit was the tea set for girls '8+', she played with it super carefully to show me how mature she was!

^If you have the option for a weekday in May I would take that over Spring Break. You also may have a better chance that any new rides are open and operating, although I'm not sure if dates have been announced for those two parks yet. One day at each park should be fine. Busch Gardens offers a Quick Queue option that is well worth the money if it is crowded.
