Mirabilandia Discussion Thread
deathbydinn replied to momo1tx's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I really like how they're adding this and the family racing coaster, I think it's great when parks do that so when family's go to the park there's something new for the adults and older kids, and for the younger ones. -
I hope thats completely untrue, as I don't see how that would benefit either park. Great America has room as well for a new coaster, (especially if its something that can fit in IW footprint) and I don't see something like IW being able to pull in good crowds for SFA, because it really can't compete with the coasters near by parks are adding. Plus, I just don't want to lose it

^ Yeah, how dare they make you wait another two weeks. Rides have problems, SFGAM's Deja Vu didn't open until October of its first year, and thats a park thats only open until October! Hell, even MM's roller skater took two years! You're getting a kick ass new coaster that can't be ridden anywhere else in America. I think you can handle another 14 days

This was such a fantastic park and I really loved how you ended it, so much better than having the park destroyed or run into money problems or anything like that. Perhaps because there isn't a download, we could get POVs of the coasters? I'd really love to see the full layouts as well as the extra things that we don't normally see. Can't wait to see what comes next, I'm sure it will be great!

[RCT3] Top Thrill Dragster!!!

It's nice that you gave some effort into making it look nice, but the random drop at the end and no brakes going into the station make unrealistic. -
Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
deathbydinn replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This really made me face-palm... In my art class, some kids where talking about the upcoming choir trip to Six Flags Great America, and then one of them asked someone at my table, "Do you know where the carousel is?" I know that the GP won't have the park memorized, but cmon, the carousel is the first thing you see when you walk in, and it's not even hidden away or anything, its the parks centerpiece! -
TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index

Sorry if this was brought up before, but the California's Great America page lists the website from when it was owned by Paramount. -
GriffyTiffy's 2011 Adventures!

TPR day was incredible. I really like the Bull pictures from the backstage tour, it just looks so funky from that angle! I agree that no amount of pictures could capture the bridge party. Even if ERT had been cancelled, it still would have been a really great way to end the night. -
I didn't notice the cell phone box by any other coaster except Batman, but I wasn't really looking though. Wouldn't it make more sense to put them by the lo.ckers though and not halfway through the line? The Dark Knight thing seems a bit odd though, I'll have to remember to check it out the next time I go.

Same here, I have no self discipline.
