I don't count the number of rides for one particular coaster but I know that I've been on SROS at SFA 26 consecutive times during a Media Event a few years ago. I rode Batwing 15 consecutive times on it's Media Day as well. PPP 2001 I rode Twister multiple times between 8pm and 11pm (Twister was suppose to close at 10pm but they kept running the ride) without getting out of the backseat.

I could...if they ever tear down Hurler at KD I'll be the first one in line to take the picture.

No, but since the official I305 blog hasn't been updated since the announcement it would be nice to read about what is really going on with the project. Personally, if I hear that "It's All Been Done" song one more time I'm going to freak. Nothing against Mr. Novak as I'm grateful for the work he does, I just really hate that song! I love how parks in general jump on the blogging bandwagon a couple of years ago yet so many parks neglect their own blogs. Paula at Holiday World does an awesome job keeping their blog fresh with content. Other than HW most of the Cedar Fair parks are hit and miss when it comes to new content. If I remember correctly, the Diamondback blog was updated once every 7-14 days and kept people interested in the construction. I don't see how updating a blog once a month, if that, will keep people's interest through out the winter. Just my two cents.

While I don't see any of the yellow supports, I do see three cranes on site. There is one to the right of the picture and two others. It looks like they're putting together the crane that will eventually complete the top of the lift hill. The crane pieces sitting in the parking lot are close to the same shade of red as the track only a bit darker in color.

Most of SROS (SFA) was assembled on the ground before being installed as SFA had difficulty getting the permits from PG County to build the coaster. It's been done before if KD goes this route.

This past Saturday, September 12th, we drove up to see the O's take on those dreaded Yankees. The trip would be my second game to NYY to see the O's, the first of the year. Everybody else who went had never been to an away game before. None of us were expecting an O's win... After having the number one defense in the pre-season, the Ravens' D did not show up yesterday. I saw it first hand! The Game, Ravens 38-KC 24 Mom isn't smiling because the Ravens are winning. I prefer the Golden Tickets over Mitch Hawker's poll. Sorry if that offends anyone on here. I'm just tired of seeing Cedar Point take the top park every year. I think Cedar Point is the park that set the standard, set the bar, but wouldn't call them the best.

Night Ranger and Journey last night. Night Ranger sucked. Journey rocked it OUT and I'm not even a fan. I was dragged to the show because my brother couldn't find anyone to go. After the show, I was glad I went. Would go see Journey again.

^they use to have one of those double ferris wheels at Trimper's in Ocean City. I never had the courage to go on because it looked so old and unkept. That and I have a fear of heights!

After reading the first six pages of this thread, I'm surprised no one has mentioned a Sally Dark Ride. Anyway, if I could build my own seasonal park, I'd want something relatively small to start SFA size (105 acres) and eventually build up to around 400 acres (King's Dominion). Theme would be Centuries...1200's through 1800's. Of course there wasn't any rides back in those times but I'd use modern rides mixed in with heavily themed buildings, plazas, etc. For the park's grand opening, I'd have a collection of classic flats, some rare thrill rides, and of course coasters! Classic Flats: Carousel Tilt-A-Whirl BUmper Cars Whip Zipper Matterhorn/Muzik Express/Alpine Bobs etc. Swings Giant Slide Pirate Ship Tea Cups Flying Animal Ride (ala Dumbo at Disney) Thrill Rides: Zamperla Energy Storm (my favorite flat) Zamperla Roto-Shake Huss Topple Tower Huss Frisbee XL Intamin Gyro Drop (250-300') S&S Sky Swatter S&S Screamin' Swing S&S Space Shot Water Rides: Mach Splash Battle - custom - potentially themed to the War of 1812 (cannon balls, 'bombs bursting in air' type stuff-I grew up living close to the river where the Star Spangled Banner was written) Hopkins River Raft Ride I don't know what it's technical name is or who makes it but I'd want one of those slides that has the fiberglass trough and you sit on the plastic raft and go straight down at about a 60 degree angle into a pool Coasters: Mid-sized Gravity Group out and back woodie (similar to Dania Beach Hurricane) Mid-sized GCII Twister Customed themed Premier Launch indoor type coaster (Revenge of the Mummy-ish) Intiman Giga - think characteristics of The Beast at KI...low to the ground but not as flat, in the woods, airtime monster B&M Invert similar to Montu Custom S&S El Loco (Steel Hawg) Chance Rides Toboggan Kiddie sized woodie like Teddy Bear at Stricker's Grove Other: Sally Dark Ride - would want it to be interactive in the sense that the riders would not only get to shoot targets but the targets would shoot lasers at your ride vehicle. Maybe lowering your score or something for bad defense. Iconic Tower ride- not an Eiffel Tower knock off but maybe the Space Needle in Seattle or Stratosphere Tower.

Oh I forgot to mention the other day that while riding the Eiffel Tower to the top, the elevator operator said the Tower was 331'6" with the viewing platform being at 275' That was a debate pre I305's announcement and no one had a concrete answer on the total height of the tower.
