I was there on the 18th. Had business in Denver and the meetings finished up in the morning so I was able to go to the park in the afternoon. I thought Twister was an Ok coaster. Not the best but certainly not the worst. I found Minderaser to be a good ride. I rode in the front and was surprised. Not a bad park but not a lot to do.
The future is not looking to good for Granite park. The article says there is a guy in the wings to finance this thing but with the econamy the way it is it would surprise me if some one stepped forward.
On the bright side Sammy Hagar will be in town next week to play at his club!

I'm not voting until I get knocked out of Find the Duckie Contest.
One thing to consider and you probably already know this is that the whole self promotion thing can start to ware a little thin if it goes on to long with some people. I for one would hate to have no updates from Big Mike in 2009. You must admit, 2008 is going to be pretty hard to top. This has been a very entertaining thread and it is not over yet.
Yeah, it was just me. I can see them now at work. Not that I am looking at them at work .... I hope the boss doesn't see this post.
Nice pics, I hope to get back to the East coast someday, There is just so many places to go.
I'm bummed there isn't pictures of the accident. Still have a few scares and my ankle still hurts a little!
Glad to see you did something useful on your day off!
It looks like the park is really starting to get into Halloween. Hopefully they will keep expanding on it. I'm not able to make it this year because of busy weekends with the kids. Maybe next year there will be another maze or two and I'll get there.
Anything new on the woodie?
Tokyo Disneyland
Cosmoworld
Tobu Zoo has a great new coaster Kawasemi
Toshimaen is not a water themed park.
All these are easily reached by JR Line or Subway
