I can't believe I missed this thread. Good thing it took you a while to post the final segment or I would have missed it all together. Awesome trip report by the way Martin. I can't wait to get back to Europe and see some of those parks. Big Europe trip for TPR in the near future?

This park has as much chance being built as the Big Dipper has being saved. It's not going to happen. No Plan and no money!

Now if they would just put a coaster in!

I like the added food choices during the holidays. Maybe it is a way to try new things and a little incentive to visit the park.

I have two good memories from this park. The first was the bar didn't have a TV so Steph and I walked across the street to a little outdoor snack place to watch the German's in a World Cup match. The second was looking for Steph during ERT and finding out she was riding Black Mamba over and over and over ....

I love this thread. I will be in Orlando in March on business and I have 4 days free. Haven't decided yet to do Disney or everything else! Leaning to everything else!

One of these days I need to get back down there to see the changes. I haven't been in over 15 years. I can't seem to get the family past Disneyland.

That was my favorite park of the trip. What amazes me is the number of things that I see in the pictures that I missed. There was a pool at the hotel?

I find pictures of old abandoned parks fascinating. Very interesting to see what happens when a place is completely neglected over time.

Terminator was always an odd theme for a wood coaster.

I'm thankful for a wife that lets me travel all over the world to visit themeparks. I'm thankful for Robb & Elissa devoting so much time and effort planning trips and developing this website. I'm thankful for all the friends made over the years on TPR trips.

Nice pictures. I would have expected the park to be a little more dressed up for Halloween. It doesn't look ike they do much with the buildings.

The article never says that it will return after 2012. Maybe because it is the end of the world?

One of the biggest things they lack is commitment on the part of Kat and Harold. I see I'm a little late on this post because Harold dropped out proving my point. No company is going to donate any substantial time or money when Kat can just walk away at any moment. She has no financial risk in this project. I doubt that they paid anything for the coaster. No one wanted to buy it so I'm sure they would gladly give it away to avoid removal costs.
