It is the 'hidden costs' that kill people. To many people assumed that paying $1,000 rent was like a $1,000 mortgage payment. People have got into houses they can't afford and as soon as something goes wrong. The're screwed.

It is like they keep bringing up the park in the news in hopes that someone will step forward with money to operate it. Not going to happen, not a good investment.

^ I would agree that recently buying a house was not a good short term move. But buying today could be a good while the market is down. While you are paying rent, I'm paying on my mortgage. In another 15 years I'll own a house that has value and you'll still be paying rent. I know what my mortgage payment will be in 10 years, do you know what your rent will be then?

Pretty ambitious plans. How much time do you plan to spend at each of these parks? Do you plan to just get the credits and leave or do other things? You have quit a drive between some of these places.

What would be the point? There is nothing on the canadian side of the lake between Buffalo and Sandusky. They hit Cedar point last year and Leviathon is hitting the rest on the American side this year.

You have to be 21 to rent a car but you will pay extra insurance to do it. Avis charges an extra $27 a day which is probably about average.

With the increased profit do you think they will lower ticket prices?

Efteling actually is one of the biggest parks in Europe. It's even bigger than Disney Land in Paris (72 > 56 ha) In my opinion, Efteling needs a thrill ride. They only have Joris and de Draak and de Python, and even those rides aren't very spectacular. But then again, Efteling isn't about thrills. I don't think when he said smaller he was referring to the physical size but to the fact it is less visited then other parks in Europe.

Based on who is behind this and what it looks like they are trying to do, I give this a chance. Build the store first and the entertainment venues will come later.

I think people play RCT to much and think you have to have a lot of open space to put in a ride. Ever seen Blackpool?
