  1. Prevents people from smashing into each other. Blame the lawsuit happy citizens of America.
  2. To sort of piggy back on this, a fine example is Millennium Force. It's one of the longest coasters on the planet, but its entire course is one block. In this case, the length actually hinders capacity to a certain degree, as you can only have one train going at a time. Thankfully they have a separate unloading station to add another block and make it possible to run three trains (unlike I305).
  3. I usually have some kind of smart ass answer for stuff like this, but on this one I'm just as perplexed as everyone else.
  4. I hope those people are ready to hemorrhage money.
  5. ^Why not? They took such good care of Twisted Sistwins!
  6. Trapper's Smokehouse at BGW is amazing. The pizza and frozen whoopie pies at Knoebels were spectacular, as was the milkshake I got there. The corn dogs and fresh squeezed lemonade at Kennywood are also a favorite of mine.
  7. Next time you fly you should volunteer to sit next to the 700-pound guy then. Or in front of the screaming child who incessantly kicks the back of your seat even though you've told him/her to knock it off 10 times. Or the business traveler with 10 carry-on bags smashed up against your legs. I suppose I've been fortunate to not get the shaft on who I've sat next to, but I'm 6'5" so I tend to find smaller people to sit next to if I'm by myself. But I would think that kind of stuff can happen on ANY airline, more so on one with assigned seating. If you aren't assigned to a seat and other seats are still available, you can always move. If you have an assigned seat, sorry bub, but you're stuck.
  8. Is that Vic Mackey driving the bus??
  9. And at the end of the day, you still get to the same place. I'd like to get there for as little as possible, thank you very much. I guess I'm not as anal retentive as others when it comes to trivial things like where you sit on an airplane.
  10. ^More commonly known as a batwing, featured on Montu. Someone said a couple weeks ago that the three inversions were all of the barrel roll or corkscrew variety. Looking at the diagram of the layout and the end of the 1st video, there are at least two barrel rolls.
  11. They could have gone with "Splendid Splinter," since it ties in with the history of New England (Ted Williams), as well as a wooden theme. Eh, whatever. A name doesn't make a coaster. Still looking forward to trying this out on the NE Trip next year!
  12. Well the name of the new coaster was announced. It will be called the "Wooden Warrior." I know they had a contest for it and all, but was that really the best name?
  13. I've never had a problem with Southwest and the whole seating thing doesn't bother me at all. Most of their flights are only a couple hours at most, so what's the big deal?
  14. That's what was odd to me. Since when has a coaster car ever had four rows?
  15. Well looking at the diagram of the station, it looks like it has 8 rows instead of 6. I'm sure it has the same OTSRs though.
  16. I'd let her tackle me. All night. Just as long as she didn't start singing.
  17. ^That actually brings up another question. Have any of the plans actually said how tall that tower structure is? My early estimate was right around the 100 foot mark, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a little taller than that.
  18. The straight section of track in the first video sure as hell looks like a launch, and unless it's just an optical illusion, it looks like it accelerates through there. EDIT: I get it after looking at the plans, but up until now, that portion of the first video always looked like a launch to me. Not sure if I'm the only one....
  19. ^If the train gets launched out of the station, that would make four launches. It looks like it might just drop out of the station and swoop around into the first launch. Either that or it has some type of slow-launched lift hill and small drop like Maverick.
  20. I guess since you can't picture it, there won't be any animal interaction.
  21. I just had a cheetah orgasm in my shorts. Light green section of track is the 3rd video. And as a reminder, orange was the first video, yellow was the 2nd video. Grace
  22. So I was doing some super duper detective work and found the clues for at least 2 of the last 3 videos. I wonder where the final clue is? Power Grace
