Epic!

^Nope, it definitely looks like they mean the first beyond vertical dive in the country period. Just like with trying to sell Texas Giant as a wooden coaster after the rehab, Six Flags is failing miserably at knowing what the hell they're talking about. At this point they're just flat out lying. EDIT: This came from SFOG's facebook page regarding the gaffe. Can I get a yawn with a side of ?

Despite the fact that the marketing and build up for this ride (not to mention the name, identical to the Skycoaster) were horrific, this is a pretty exciting addition for SFOG. I can't wait to see what a beyond vertical dive is like, seeing how I haven't already ridden three others in this country.

^Just about my exact thoughts on inverts. Afterburn and Talon are right near each other in my rankings with Silver Bullet sandwiched between them in a lovely inverted manage a trois. Raptor is somewhere in the bad part of town on a street corner in the red light district smelling like cigarettes and cheap perfume, with Patriot and Great Bear rolling down the windows asking for a ride. -

^What he said. We didn't notice it the first time we rode this week, but the 2nd time we both somehow caught it. We literally couldn't stop laughing, it was a giant stuffed Domo in Alaska! -

TTD Prototype?

Pretty sure that was drawn while there was still speculation as to what the rest of the layout would look like after the top hat. CP had basically built the ride before they announced any official stats on it, so a lot of people thought it was going to go out on the island and have some kind of crazy layout. Turns out everyone was wrong! -
Yes, it was miserable. Do you like Mountain Dew/Pepsi Throwback?

Probably something to do with controls and/or censors. Sometimes Intamin can "over complicate" their rides to the point where they are too "smart" for their own good. They're probably just having to work out glitches in the ride program. -

^I was just dumbfounded to hear from this poster that somehow, in the middle of removing Hypersonic, building Dominator, re-theming the park to Snoopy, and building I305, they had also planned to build a GCI coaster in a field completely off the beaten path behind two other wooden coasters. While I'm certainly intrigued to find out what the actual project is (my money is on the building that someone mentioned earlier), threads like this make me cringe, because everyone just says their home park. So why not? I think this is getting built at Carowinds next year, maybe inside the giant infield next to Intimidator. -

^That's news to me. Do you have anything at all to substantiate this, or was it yet another baseless rumor that gets thrown around this industry on a regular basis? -

Sounds a little bit like what happened at Knott's during WCB. I guess some people just feel entitled to do what they please, no matter how much others are bending over backwards to give them a good time. -

^Are you serious? It says right on the page it's Gravity Group, and that ride was announced over a year ago.
