1. ^ That ain't Premier track. Edit - Nevermind, it is. The vertical twist sections have the thin spine and wonky cross-ties.
2. "Facts" I'm only slightly kidding. I know things have leaked here and there but who's to know what is real and what it rumor? I appreciate the research but until there's an official announcement I take it with a grain of salt. Anyways, thanks for those pics! It looks basically untouched from my visit in July but you managed to poke around more than I did and found that tunnel section. Can't wait to see what they unveil!
3. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I would definitely call it Vagina. Edit - Ooooo, "Colossal Vagina" would work! I'd just have to clarify if I'm talking about the ride or my ex girlfriends.
4. ^ I ask again, what is so unique about Hustler? It's themed teacups. Am I missing something?
5. ^ They don't have the real estate to devote a swath of land to one ride. Silver Bullet was placed into the area it's in beautifully. It interacts with the other rides, landscape, and pathways very well. Any other large coaster in Knott's' future will be the same way because it's what they're required to do with what they have. If you wanna talk about dumping coasters on concrete, look at Magic Mountain. Scream, Goliath, Colossus, all dumped into the parking lot. Riddler and Batman dumped into open land. Tatsu and Iron Dragon (EDIT - I meant Ninja because I'm dumb) are the only coasters there I can think of that are designed with the park's landscape in mind. If you ask me I prefer when rides and coasters aren't dumped into a flattened area. They carry much more character when they've been molded to the needs of the park rather than the park just gutting areas to put something there.
6. ^ They're gonna use a time machine to go back before Hustler was there and build it.
7. ^^ Aquatrax. The RMC thing was all one big ruse.
8. Boring. Not even a picture, just another announcement for an announcement. Time Machine.
9. I ran it through an anagram generator, just the letters that are scrambled. 62,501 results. http://wordsmith.org/anagram/anagram.cgi?anagram=dcesktmnoewsegstoliimrci&language=english&t=0&d=&include=&exclude=&n=&m=&source=adv&a=n&l=n&q=n&k=1 Whoever has the next few days free, be my guest.
10. No. No you don't. No place is perfect for a splash battle.
11. For exactly two weeks. Then the effects will begin to break and stay broken.
12. Serious question about Hustler. What's so special about it? I looked up some youtube videos and all I can see is it's themed teacups.
13. Was tweeted just after 10pm pacific time. Was deleted before I could screengrab the tweet.
14. ^ But this is in the bible belt! How?!
15. I prefer this one: Pretty much me after every post in here, Fiesta Texas, or Magic Mountain.
16. ^^ And RIDE drastically different. The only difference between Intimidator and Fury will be different locations for the train to shudder.
17. I found it on Reddit. Apparently it was tweeted. Edit - Here's the post. Not a tweet, but a press gift box.
18. I am. I was actually sent an invitation in the mail with this promo image -
19. I'm torn on wing coasters. They can be fantastic ride when done right (Raptor) or decent yet lackluster ride when done wrong (Wild Eagle). It's all about the themeing and close calls on those rides. Anyway, as for Fury 325, solid "meh" from me. I've yet to ride a B&M hyper/giga that excites me. Apollo and Nitro are fun but they're also the first foray into the territory. Every similar B&M since has been either boring, rough, forceless, or any combination of the three. I'll get back to Carowinds eventually but this will not make it a priority.
