What about the Wisconsin Dells?
-
You do need to buy them at the same time to get the deal. You can't buy one now, and a second a month later to get the 3rd free.

25 to drive is just stupid. I'd be shocked if that actually became law. In Canada (or at least Ontario), 16 to drive, 19 to drink and smoke, 18 to gamble.

I thought SFA was a pretty decent park. Definetly worth a credit stop. Superman is good (as you know by SFDL), and Wild One is good. Though personally I think Kennywood and Hershey are too good of parks to give them up for a credit stop. But that's just my opinion.

Re-Organizaing TPR's Front Page

I really like the re-organized approach. Text and size issues aside, I think it's a better layout. -

Also Robb you're using nearly the same text for the link, and for the title. ie "TPR's "Un Solace Weekend" Update!" as a title. And "TPR's "Un Solace Weekend" Photo & VIdeo Update!" as a link to the update. Why not just remove the link, and make the thumbnail, and the title itself the link? That would give you a bit more room, and would get rid of some redundant text. -

What if you increased the size of the thumbnails a bit? Making each update a bit larger. Might give you a bit more text room to work with. Though I'll be honest, I use a 21" monitor at home with a 1600x1200 resolution. So my screen isn't what you'd be aiming to please. -

Just don't take it the wrong way. It's an average at best used Vekoma being moved. It's nothing new, just same crap different pile. So no one except PKI fanboys are going to be all that interested in it. -

I like the latest test version. Though the text in each post is kind of small. Would be nice to have an option to view older updates. (though I understand that might be more complicated then you're currently worried about) -

I kind of liked the old version better. On this new version each item looks too small to me. And the search box having a column of it's own seems to get in the way. Is it even needed? I see where you're trying to go though. -
Considering he wants to go to SFGAdv he'd be better off going to SFA. SFA is closer, Superman is the same ride there, and the park around it is better.

Do you guys like or not like this?
Carnage replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well that shouldn't really affect much. You'll have so many updates that you'd have to scroll down a few pages to get to the part where the one collumn is longer. Or you can set a static amount of updates shown, and then have a "older updates" link to show the rest of them. -

Why do Joey and Casey have the exact same head? -
Knoebels,Dorney,Lake Compounce,SFA,SFNE,Kings Dominion,BGW,etc etc. There's alot of parks in the area. I really don't think you need even 3 days at CP or SFGADV, but it's your vacation. GL seriously you could do in an afternoon on your way to Sandusky.

People comment if there's anything interesting. -
I think you're estimating about double the amount of time required at those parks. GL is a day park at best, more like 2-3 hours really. CP should only take you two days to enjoy it. SDGADv two days tops like CP. Assuming you're not coming in the middle of the summer busy season you should really consider about trimming down your stays at those parks. There are ALOT of good parks in the midwest/east coast. You could cut days out of those parks and end up seeing and doing more. Just noticed you mentioned September. Be aware that seasonal parks are in weekend only operatin at that point. Early June would be a better time to plan if you want decent weather, and have stuff open on weekdays.

^ Sounds exactly like what mine did. The battery was probably just fully discharged.
-
Define "broke". What's wrong with it? My iPod seemingly "died" a week ago. But the battery had just fully discharged, and windows won't start charging it if it's fully discharged. Doing the menu/select reset trick fixed it, it turned on and started charging.

Of course there's always the chance of a "wrath of God" type storm that wipes out the entire state like Andrew did.

You're from Arkansas, so I assume you know what kind of damage a tornado can cause? Well a hurricane will do alot more damage then any tornado can.

Coaster seat fit guides?
Carnage replied to noyzz's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Also the test seats aren't the same as the ride itself. Plus the belt lengths will differ from train to train, and seat to seat. At CP it doesn't matter if the bar comes down all the way. Wether or not you can get the seat belt on is what determines if you ride or not. Plus it varies how much slack you need on the belt to ride. Cedar Point is not freindly to larger people at all. It's a crap shoot to get on MF. (TTD is a bit better thanks to the slightly different T-bar). I've seen many people kicked off MF that I would not consider large. -
Coaster seat fit guides?

I'm 6"4 and close to 200 and had no problem with Storm Runner. The Intamin OSTRs give you just as much room, if not more then B&Ms. -

You will have more problems on Intamin than B&M. However wether or not that's enough of a problem not to ride is hard to tell. KK you'll have an easier time on, as the OSTR's from Intamin are easier for larger people then the t-bar restraints. Not sure about El Toro. If it was Cedar Point I'd say it'd be iffy, but I don't know if El Toro is better or not. -
Try making your own wire out of paper clips. Make sure to do a photo TR when you try and plug it in.
