  1. Hopefully project 2007 includes new music that plays while Cedar Point resorts has you on hold. I was just on hold for like 10 minutes. The damn song was just "Ride on snoopy, snoopy ride on yah yah yah yah yah". It just kept looping and looping and looping. Now I'm going to have to resist the urge to punch snoopy when I get to the park.
  2. ^^ I still think it's very weird to call that ride even a quasi-water ride. Skimming over a lake does not make it a water ride. I feel like I'm going crazy. It's like calling Shiekra a water coaster.
  3. ^ My bet is on a Huss Topple Tower to replace it. It would fit the theme of the area. The whole intense looking rides, which are actually very tame theme.
  4. ^ Didn't we know that like 10 pages ago??
  5. I'd probably guess it's age. I've rarely seen it run in the past few years. It's almost always just been sitting there idle.
  6. Johnathan Hawkins video gets extra marks as it features a few cameos of myself.
  7. WWL's station is indeed intact. I'm sure they'll use it, though possibly with modifications. If we explore the aqua trax rumour those 8 person trains could fit that roundabout in the station with some modifications made. But this whole aqua trax thing is really annoying me because I don't understand it. Everyone keeps saying "to be good the aqua trax has to be well themed". Doesn't that just make it a normal roller coaster with good theming? By that logic wouldn't mine ride be an aqua trax? As far as I can tell aqua trax just refers to the train itself, not the ride. So I'd think of aqua trax along the same lines as the hyper-coaster trains.
  8. That check box is only there while the X is. I just checked on the post before yours. No X, and no delete post checkbox in edit mode. Edit: The check box does show up for this post though. which at the time of posting had the X.
  9. Actually they've already done that a few times. Magnum,Millenium Force, and TTD all had massive waits at some point in their opening years. Magnum I saw with 6-7 hour waits, MF I saw with 4 hour waits(and heard from others that it was getting even longer then that upwards of 7 hours on the saturdays), and TTD obviously had waits this long due to the problems in it's opening year.

  11. ^^ Well I wasn't making that point trying to make it seem that this isn't an aqua trax. At this point I'd say that's the strongest rumour. But really I can't help but ask why??
  12. ^ How do you delete a post after the X goes away?? Or is it a time thing or something? It's kind of confusing. Sometimes when the forum hicups I want to delete the double post, but it won't let me.
  13. Is it just me or does it seem like the button for deleting one of your posts(the little X) is only coming up for the very last post you made? I just deleted a double post of mine, but then noticed only one of my posts had the button on it. Once I deleted the dupe, the X showed up on the previous post(which now would have been my last post).
  14. ^ So it really is just a dumb new name for a LIM launched ride that uses ugly low capacity trains??
  15. Which pics are you talking about? It's by Breakers Express, not Breakers. The "real" pics you linked to are the one's we were talking about. Any other track pics are one's of other rides(like Atlantis in Korea) that people were using as comparisons.
  16. ^ That accident has no impact on any future rides built of that type. It was a case where a drunk employee was able to ride without being secured. He then fell and died. You can't blame the designer for an accident causd by sheer stupidity in a country with a lack of proper saftey guidelines.
  17. There's an introduce yourself thread in the random board. These threads always get locked, as they just clutter up the forum. Welcome to the boards, but you might want to read the posting rules to make sure you fit in nicely.
  18. Is it even a water coasters though? Does it have a water splash or something? All of the pictures I've seen of Atlantis adventure just look like a well themed Intamin with a special train. No water affects or anything. Unless there's something I'm really missing?
  19. Well considering you live in Japan that would almost make it official that it's an aqua trax like in Korea?
  20. 40 minutes for Skyrider? Ouch. I bet it was like just down the stairs or something too? Even a station wait for that ride can be 30 minutes on a bad day.
  21. Only enthusiasts complain about it being a one trick pony. The GP doesn't go "this sucks because it doesn't have overbanks". The GP are blown away by it, and think it's the best thing ever.
  22. I would be shocked if it wasn't that long on a saturday Derek. I've never seen that line shorter then an hour before. Unless it rains I'm guessing it's going to be that long. Though you might luck out if you and Nicole end up going back on Sunday. If the weather is decent I'd expect 30-45 minute waits for just about everything. Oh and I didn't get a pic of it, but they've begun taking apart the Orbiter. At first I thought it was staying afterall, but then I got to the other side and noticed that a handful of the cars have been removed and placed on skids. Wonder what Monidal/Huss ride is going to go in that place? My guess would be a toppel tower.
  23. Where else is it going to go?? I don't think you're really thinking about how hard this would be to do. And really why spend tens of millions of dollars to add fluff onto the end of a ride? Even on Excelerator, the top hat was the fun part. The two overbanks were just kind of meh. I'd much rather them spend that money on a new ride. Changing an existing rides that works just fine doesn't make any sense to me.
  24. ^ I'm picturing the wave swingers from Lake Compounce when I picture the speed of this. The wave swinger at LC is by far the fastest I've run into yet.
  25. ^ Sure it would be like adding a whole new ride. But how many existing rides would you have to remove to make this happen? Corkscrew and Iron Dragon would probably have to go if you added hills and overbanks to TTD. You can't just build overtop of rides like that.
