  1. Feels like forever since the last conclave. I should be able to make it.
  2. ^ The UK trip has been over for more then 2 weeks.
  3. Make sure to go to Dorney's waterpark, it's much better then the actual ride park. MIA you can finish very quickly. Timbers is overrated, and the park itself is only a credit stop. You should be able to ride everything. Cedar Point only Jr Gemini you won't be able to ride.
  4. ^ You mean Disaster Transport. Avalanche Run hasn't existed for a very long time.
  5. Other then saturday it's really a crap shoot. It could be deserted, or it could be packed. I won't be back till September. I really don't bother making trips during the summer months anymore. I only go during may and september.
  6. Imagine that, MFI was actually open? It wasn't too sunny?
  7. Great TR Eric! I'll give you a shout if I'm ever down in Florida. Might end up coming down that way next year. Wish it could have been this year, but I don't have the time off to take.
  8. I just choose whatever airline is cheapest and has the best times. Airlines I've flown are El Al Isreal, American, Air Transat, and RyanAir. El Al had hands down the best service of the airlines I've flown.
  9. You know now that I think back, I don't think I ever rode Ultimate anywhere other then the back. Seems everyone has ass photos of the rat hole entrance.
  10. While it was done well, it was just not really my thing. I'm glad youg guys enjoyed it, I just don't think I could have sat through the rest of it. I'm just too used to people on skates trying to put a puck in a net, not dancing. I actually loved the Ultimate. I guess I just handled the pain better. The couple days after Blackpool I kind of went through withdrawls. Blackpool was such an amazing experience, that the following lesser parks kind of felt that much less.
  11. You should photo shop in the 4 of us that bailed during the intermission.
  12. Just about every water ride on the UK trip had a ride op vaccuming up water before boarding, as well as those drying machines after you get off. Both of which were things I had never seen in north america before.
  13. Oh well, it was my dumbass fault for knocking my eblow on the table and spilling it.
  14. ^ I think I was better at spilling drinks. Sorry Tommy.
  15. I didn't ride the flume at BPB. The thing about BPB was that there was so much to do that you couldn't get it all in. I think everyone missed something here and there through the day just because of time constraints. I know I missed noahs ark, space invaders2, and probably a few other random things.
  16. ^ Not too mention being tall sucks when riding wooden Gerstlauer trains. My knees always press against the frame of those cars making the rides really painful.
  17. Yeah, the music was cool. All through the ride I could just hear the bass.
  18. Psst I was there too. In fact I remember having my life flash before my eyes when I spun sideways and almost got t-boned by Dan. Those karts were fun, but a pain in the ass to get going when you stall.
  19. I loved Balder, however I still put it behind Thunderhead and Hades. I think personally I prefer speed and laterals over airtime, which is probably why I rank it #3. Probably also the reason why I love Millenium Force, but many others just find it meh. There's so many different aspects to roller coasters that will affect everyone differently. So everyone is going to have drastically different opinions on rides. Or even what kind of pain threshold can have a big impact. I know on the UK trip alot of people hated Ultimate for it being so rough. But I actually really liked it. I found it rough, but rough in a good way. I kind of like painful rides for some reason.
  20. Only if you're in the first or 2nd row though. The waterfall turns off as the boat goes through it, that way the back of the boat can laugh at the suckers in the front.
  21. ^ None taken. Video tends to take longer to transfer, look over, and edit, so that's probably why none has popped up yet. Well at least in the public forums. Actually I do have a POV of Megaphobia already on my computer. Well a mid-train POV at least. I might see if I can throw that up tonight.
  22. Some of us are drowning while trying to catch up on the 2 weeks we missed of our real lives. Give it time and stuff will be posted. I know I'm not rushing to get any video posted.
  23. [quote="martinbAnd why isn't Coaster Express/Wild Wild West in that top 3 Woodies? Golden tickets are more based off of pure ridership. So the better rides in remote areas tend to get ignored. It's also why places like Cedar Point clean up on these awards. My top 3 personally goes: 1. Thunderhead 2. Hades 3. Balder
  24. I thought that it only pulled 6 Gs when it ran the full length trains. It pulls less Gs when the removed a car after the accident. Still a very intense ride though from what I hear.
  25. ^ Yes it was. It broke on labour day. I was there two weeks afterwards and it was still closed. And it didn't re-open till sometime in mid to late October. (but only lasted a weekend before breaking down again).
