  1. Needless to say, this event will be amazing.
  2. For some reason, I assumed that was already open. At any rate, it looks incredible!
  3. "Roller Coaster" - Little Walter
  4. ^I've always wanted to coincide with a band organ rally. Let us know how it was!
  5. ^Yup. I know it's just a coincidence, but still. Speaking of coincidences, just last night I had a dream about coaster track on fire....
  6. I must admit, any TR of our time at Timber Falls is bound to raise at least as many questions for me as it answers. Chance Toboggans are way more effortlessly photogenic than I'd think they deserve to be. Both the amazing TPR memories and the charm of the park make Little Amerricka one of those places I'll always feel hugely nostalgic about.
  7. Five from the global list and 14 from the America list for me! Some interesting discussions here. I agree that, from what I read a while back, SeaWorld may be getting exactly what they were aiming for, despite any appearances to the contrary.
  8. ^Ahh, right. If it seems like it's "forcing" people to do that, that could definitely look bad. I was thinking more of the crowd control/capacity angle of it.
  9. I haven't heard this, but I doubt my random speculation will hurt anyone. I think it sounds fair, as long as they're very clear about it to minimize potential complaints, and are careful that all employees handling it treat everyone politely and the setup isn't confusing or inconvenient. But experimenting with this doesn't seem like a bad idea to me.
  10. I hope they don't do that. I had no problems with the PTC trains, though I know a few people complain of comfort issues with the seat divider. I appreciate that the bars don't seem to auto-staple, as that varies a lot with PTCs. I don't want RMC trains on traditional wooden coasters due to the extremely tight design/use of the lap bars, and I'm sure it wouldn't be cost-effective for them to design something different, apart from maybe omitting the leg bars. I'm assuming you're not confused with the rumored upcoming train replacement on Wildcat, right?
  11. Rotors Washington State Fair - this one is my favorite. Comfy wall, and the floor drops a LOT. Only open during the September fair, but it sometimes travels. Look for Diskotek on the ride list. Canobie Lake Park Worlds of Fun There are also some traveling ones. Battech (formerly Dartron) currently makes a version called the SpinDrome or Rave. Caterpillars Canobie Lake Park has one with the canopy. IdleWild recently removed theirs, but it's been rumored that it will be back. I don't know about funhouses, but newer portable ones often have a lot of traditional stunts like rotating barrels. Being used to ones that just have mirrors and slides, I didn't know there were so many that have a lot of moving parts. I can vouch for these rides operating in years ranging from 2010-2013, FYI. I always make sure to check out Rotors and Caterpillars to enjoy the novelty of riding such rare, classic rides!
  12. I vote for splitting the difference and simply calling it "debatable." As for Gwazi, I didn't hate it, nor find it completely airtime-less, but I won't cry when it's gone. Once was enough.
  13. Wait...is that name the result of the Wacky Worm naming contest?
  14. Welcome to the Zuckerman Barn! Welcome to the Zuckerman Barn! Welcome ttttttttoooooooooo...the Zuckerman Barn!
  15. Timberhawk at Wild Waves on opening day. Marathoned it with almost all walk-ons. Definitely a front seat ride, the only time I ever chose to wait a train.
  16. I may not have any reason to check this out, but I used to love Duplo, so it caught my attention. Thanks for reporting!
  17. I was going to ask what the heck this was an inside joke nickname for and why I wasn't aware of it. Then I looked it up just in case and now I'm wondering why I didn't know this was a very real coaster. Maceraperest
  18. ^Congrats! ... I made a stupid mistake online. I immediately tried to correct it, and I've just now been assured that my stupidity will not cost me any $$$. There may be other consequences to be easily addressed, but at least I'm not out any money!
  19. Me too...high five! Couldn't let myself miss it.
  20. ^I'm usually all for free choice, but at least they are letting you wait for the best seats. Hopefully that will improve capacity, as I'm sure is the intent. Does Outlaw Run have any exceptionally good seats other than the front and back?
  21. Ha, not the first time I've seen Zamperla to blame. I've run into the same issue with a powered Dragon coaster of all things.
  22. ^I'm afraid I may have said this recently in another thread, but in case I didn't: Collide is an amazing album!
  23. "Baby Please Don't Go" - Big Bill Broonzy
