What's your closest coaster?
BrownStreak replied to FishyFish's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Right now the Serpeant at Wyandot Lake is the closest coaster to me. I have no pics of it as I have never been there. When I move to Cleveland this summer I will have to get a tape measure and measure the closest coaster to me! -
Travel Channel Best of 2006
BrownStreak replied to jamesdillaman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
How about Top 10 Mistakes and mis-information from a Travel Channel show! A few years back they had a special where they had this young girl spend 5 minutes explaining how she alters her height so she can ride coasters that she is way too short for! "First I wear my really big boots and then I put all of my hair up so I am 5 inches taller!" Btw the reason these ratings are so incredibly stale is how they are judged. People are sent ballots, they fill them out, and send them back. There is really no requirement that they have ridden more than 1 coaster that given year- or any at all for that matter. I know people who are on that judging list that have never been anywhere except Disney & Cedar Point! They just fill in Magnum as their favorite coaster thinking, "Well it was grat when I rode it 10 years ago and I haven't been on anything better since," is quite often because they have not been on ANYTHING since. In order to have an actual FAIR vote for these things people would have to actually go experience each of these coasters and then vote- when instead it is a matter of there are more voters in the East-Midwest and therefore CP wins everything! -

Does anyone know what site has the colorable swamp goo as a download? I had it years ago on my old pc and it is the one scenery item that I was not able to find after a full day of scenery searching today.

Other parks give you the chance to "Ride the Movies," we give you the chance to 'Ride the showtunes' when you visit Broadway Kingdom! I have more, but I'll let you check out these 1st. I've been playing the RCT games for over 5 years! The Phantom of the Opera & Starlight Express CATS- The Ride! Entry to Broadway Kingdom -
Welcome to Kingdoms of Fun! This plot of land was originally set aside for a different park which is why the entrance is not themed! The "Hub," which Kingdom will you choose? Main Plaza The Main Gate

There was a Disney Channel Special on WDW several years back in like the late 80's or early 90's (when did Star Tours open? it was around the same time) starring John Lithgow. At the end he announced "Coming Attractions which included Tower of Terror, a Roger Rabbit dark ride much different that DL's, and "A Runaway Roller Coaster through Mount Fuji at the Japan Pavillion." It seems odd that a Disney-made show would give information about rides that were never built (except ToT).

I'm sorry but I have to point this out as its all too common but is extremely visable in the picture below. It is extremely apparent that the area within the red bex was once filled with trees. Why must some many trees be removed so widely around the track? It would be some much cooler to keep the trees and have the ride running through them! -
Hey Robb, wanna hear something funny?
BrownStreak replied to BrownStreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Man! I never knew there was this much behind it! I just thought it was odd FIVE pages back when I started this thread The thread where I saw the censor was from someone asking for good coaster videos and I don't know how to copy a link so I can't provide it sorry. Ray A.K.A. Piglet "Any site with pics of Dan is the best anyways" Izard -

I'm sorry, but everytime I hear the name of this park I think of hot men in tight camos with high & tight haircuts! -
I drove past the train tracks behind the building I work in today and the weather was sunny, though not warm. For reason I suddenly had a full recolection of my 1st day working at Disney's Magic Kingdom some 12 years ago now: Driving into the far north back gate of the complex towards the Disney University Building and hearing the whistle of the Magic Kingdom Railroad off in the distance- I thought "wow what a magical place to work," it was just so cool for someone who in 5th grade drew a picture of themselves working in a theme park when asked to draw where they wanted to work when they grew up. Anyone else have magical little memmories like this? Ray "Remember the Magic from WDW's 25th was supposed to be sung by my aunt at my wedding, but my fiancee dumped me a month before the wedding and has been with four people in the 1.5 years since" Izard

You know I had thought about doing this a year ago. What made it come back into a thought is that this past Christmas I know she wanted animals for the Little Pet Shop (Boys- hee hee) or something like that- so I got her a frog and a bird and I thought it would be cool to get her a real wild animal!
