Great start to the trip. The lost luggage saga did not look fun while you were going through it. Hopefully now you can look back and laugh?

You?!?! NEVER! Ive ridden one or 2 Wacky Worms.... yes, you can go to Orlando, New York, or Nashville to have dinner with your friends, but it also is the culture. I am planning a trip next year to a country that has 3-4 nice parks, the rest is crap. However it is a beautiful country and i am excited to see some of the culture with friends while riding 1 or 10 Wacky Worms!

I am definitely on the more "Credit Whore" side of what Robb is talking about, i do count, and i will go out of my way to ride Wacky Worms (And suffer Robb's laughs for alot of it). I have changed over the years though to i want to go places with friends, and see new things. Sometimes it is not just for the coasters. I have been to some off the beaten track parks (went to Indonesia this spring), and while they may not have the most OMFG crazy intamin rides there were some beautiful parks. At the end of the day though, if i could choose between Indonesia with Friends or Europa by myself, i would choose Indonesia. It is not just about getting my count up, its about the time at Dinner, the time hanging out in line, and just being with people you enjoy. I am going to WCB in a few weeks and i think i need a grand total of 3 credits in Southern California (one isnt even at one of the WCB parks). i'm going because i will get to meet up with friends from the UK, Australia, and all over the US that i otherwise wouldnt get to see. I do agree that over 500, people just think you are crazy!

I head to London the weekend after WCB, thats alot further than Colorado I guess my dream of riding Speedy Gonzales with you wont come true It's more of a money issue than anything. I'm guessing your flights are all paid for by your company, or points that you've earned. Also Rick, I care about friends more than coasters, so a good friend's wedding trumps WCB. Nah, both trips are on me, UK is for a family thing. Thats why i wanted you to go, so i could ride Speedy Gonzales with my FRIEND Thad

This was a great trip, and i agree with all your points. Everyone was super helpful, and most parks were clean. The traffic was abysmal, and their was some frustrating moments with park opening times. Cant wait for next years trip with slightly more mainstream parks

Bought my tickets today for both days. I don't even need any coasters at Knotts, but the fact that i get to spend the weekend with some awesome friends is better than any stupid coasters!

A group of us are flying to UT tomorrow to go on Wednesday.... Hoping against hope it opens.

If i remember correctly (Which i might not, this trip was awhile ago) it was mediocre. it was a walk through, but with no scare actors. i do remember the "dark ride" that was a train that went through these random rooms and outside. that was decent. This park seemed like they tried really hard, but didn't quite execute it....

After seeing this on FB yesterday i thought Holy S*** now seeing even more it makes me seriously jealous. I cant wait to take my daughter there one day! Seriously, it sucks that we cant have nice things in the US EDIT. Just looked at the pricing for this thing!!!! it is SERIOUSLY good value. Back to earlier statement, why cant we have nice things

My aunt yesterday was telling me how she told her 20 year old daughter she didn't want her going to Alton Towers, or any other park, until "they had this under control". No matter how much i told her that this was a freak one time thing she did not believe me....

Like Bill, lately All my milestones have been in different Countries. 500 - UK - Thorpe Park - Swarm 600 - Japan - Toshimaien - Cyclone 700 - Denmark - Tivoli Frieheden - Tyfonen 800 - USA - Gillians Wonderland Pier - Wacky Worm 900 will be in Canada at Canada's Wonderland. Trying to think of somewhere AWESOME for the big 1000 next year.
