^^ I believe SB was running slightly over budget so instead of filling the lake back in completely, they only filled up half of it and then had the train take the path of the boat. You can still see the original path the train took through the shrubberies. Plus you know, what's a Cedar Fair park without more cement?

yea, but let us hope that this is Knott's last coaster until they rip out another one (the only one I can think of would be boomerang) or expand the park. But 8 roller coasters for this park is pretty amazing, imo. And even though they ripped out that boat ride, I guess its not that big of a deal seeing as how they already butchered it. Now they just finished it off and put something cool in its place.

after looking at satalite images of the park and the ride's current location, I must say that I'm sort of perplexed by what they intend to do with this thing.

by bigger do they mean the actual theme park? Because if that's the case, then that's not very big.

For SFMM, I remember that in Januare and February you would actually get on the ride in a reasonable time, even though there weren't a whole lot of people in the park. At one moment during the year they were actually running all 3 trains on riddler's revenge. But as the year progressed everything got worse.

I can almost guarantee you that it's just hopeful wishing that grew from there. They would have to completely redo the the station (the floors) and rip up stuff in the process in order to do that, on top of that paying for the new trains and finding something to do with the old trains. But I think its the redo of the station that really rings a bell in my mind that its not going to happen.

Really? I was kind of dissappointed with the ride myself, I didn't exactly get what I was shooting at. And neither did anyone else. The person with the highest score in our car was about 8 years old, so you know... But some of the animatronics are pretty cool.

Come on, they should have at least through in a loop and a couple of air hills and other twists to it. Lame! But I'd guess if they did that, the astronaunts would be like, OMG... there is an emergency. Well I guess we have to use that roller coaster.... Oh noes....

I think one would have to be Gwazi. I wasn't expecting it to be very good at all but instead of just grabbing the credits, we actually came back for a couple more spins on the ride and enjoyed it. See, unlike most coaster enthusiests, I don't scream bloddy murder simply because the track might have a fair ammount of jack hammering. So long as the ride is good, aside from the jack hammering, they can still be very fun.

So, I was looking on the Six Flags webiste and saw no mention of this pass. So if they did get rid of it, then is parking included with the other pass? And what about the fastlane passes? PS: I did search with the search button, but I could not find any related topic, so if there happens to be one out there already, I'm sorry, but I did look.

Knotts already has too many coasters in that area. I really hope knotts does not get a new coaster in the near future until they come up with a good expansion plan which would do more then just add another coaster credit, but rather create something exiting and on par with past creations (though, I myself, may be dreaming in vain as well. )

Yea, well SD2000 is probably even more boring. It just screams borinng. THe hill shaping is very poor, along with all the other poor track shaping. Not to mention the repetitiveness....
