^I don't know if, outside of Texas, any school can afford to leave when you consider that they all agreed to give the Big 12 their long term media rights, even in the event they were to leave for another conference. I also see them pairing up with the SEC as a way for those two plus the Pac 12/B1G to be the "big four" in the event of further realignment.

^While it was several years after Phantom's revenge opened, you could argue replacing the lift track was really part of building an entire new coaster. You just did it in two phases. It probably doesn't make financial sense for a park like KI or KD to replace large amounts of track for a ride that won't move the attendance meter while just replacing the coasters with a new one can increase attendance/revenue.

The big three bowls are Rose, Sugar, and Orange. It's hilarious that ESPN is paying $80 million a year EACH for the Rose and Sugar but only $55 million for the Orange Bowl. Poor ACC

If they announced they we're removing it I'd be sad, as it's probably my third favorite coaster there. Hopefully they replace it with another awesome ride.

While Oregon's offense is the scariest of the three to face, Chip Kelly's record in big games when the other team has extra time to prepare is abysmal. I would kind of like to see a Saban vs. Snyder matchup, but I'm sure ESPN would love a Bama/Notre Dame matchup simply for the ratings it would probably bring in.

I'm glad Alabama won....but I HATE close games like that!!

It was a slow year for me. Wild Eagle was the only new credit as I didn't visit any new parks, so my highlight would probably getting my first night ride on Millennium Force.

Mississippi State faces Bama, Texas A&M, and LSU the next three games. It wouldn't surprise me for them to be 7-3 after that. IMO, there's a reason why Vegas made them a 24pt dog even though they are 7-0.

^That's correct. Riddler only has the two trains now. Maybe in a couple of seasons when the "newness" factor at SFGAdv wears off they can return the other train? You would think the year round park needs the third train more so they can always have two available year round.

And there's the reason why things have gone the way they have. They want to make it seem like there was no way the park could have ever been saved so they can build a casino. Might not be the worst trade off at this point.

Just looking at their strength of schedule Cincy would have the best (although still slim) shot to make the championship as an undefeated. Their SOS is 36, Rutgers is 73, and Louisville is 94 (out of 120). Here are the SOS for the other undefeated teams: Alabama 29, Florida 11, Mississippi St 49, Kansas St 23, Notre Dame 37, Ohio 118, Oregon State 30, and Oregon 30. Ohio St is 64, but obviously is ineligible this year.

^Agreed about the Big East. Rutgers is currently #11 in the computers, so that would probably be their only hope. As long as Bama makes it to the game, I don't care who the other team is

One thing I would like to point out, if DL runs the ride like AAdv did, it is the BEST Space Shot I have ever ridden. Really nice air at the top. After riding CP's Power Tower the op asked asked what I though and I simply said "boring." Beingable to ride this one so often really spoiled me
