Some quick thoughts after riding Colossus 6 times already today, 3 times in the front and 3 in the back. This coaster is what California has been needing, the airtime is pure ejector, something that a lot of California enthusiasts have never expeeinced. This is going to be a number one coaster for a lot of people.

The thing is none of these coasters are high on airtime, which TC is promised to have. The GP aren't too big on airtime, and if there is a big enough response against "that feeling in my stomach" then I could see SFMM putting in trims. It may be an extreme reaction, but one I'm not going to discredit quite yet.

Track completed April 18th. First cycle April 28th. Didn't exactly start testing over night. I think that was meant to be a slight to SFMM's notorious track record of being behind schedule. Though, not this time. That fire might have helped shaved some time off construction Nah I meant to point out those that still doubted TC would test even after Cyclone did yesterday. Both coasters completed track work within a day of each other, why wouldn't they test around the same time?

^ I kinda understand your complaints about the Screampunk District, but I like that the park is doing something with that area. I've only ever seen one show in the theater (other than WCB) in my 9 years of going to the park, but with SFMM being pretty limited with entertainment options it's important that a new show is cycled in. The whole steampunk thing is a bit of a stretch, but way better than a county fair theme IMO. Steampunk is a creative and interesting approach for a park like this to pull off; it's something unique. I'm usually one to bash the park, but they did a good job with the DC Universe overhaul and I'm interested to see some life come back to that corner of the park. I absolutely can't wait for Colossus to open, it has been a long time coming for some airtime out west, not to mention many people's first RMC. This has been the first time in a long time that I can say I'm excited to visit SFMM again.

Wasn't that in 2014? Shortly after it happened they trimmed em. Now like a few days/week after they cut down the remaining trees near TC they seemingly remove all of them anywhere close to Ninja. Yeah I believe it may have been in August...? It was very recently, certainly in 2014. It was. I don't know why people are complaining again, this is old news. But after all this is the SFMM thread.

Visited the park yesterday for the first time in a few months and overall had a good day. The longest wait of the day was 15 minutes for Tatsu, everything else was pretty much a walk on. As what has been discussed before Apocalypse has not aged well in its short five years of operation, the jackhammering is prevalent, especially in the tunnel before the station fly through. It's sad to see a GCI turn to crap so fast, I used to really enjoy Apocalypse and now it is a one and done ride. I can't help but think negatively towards SFMM for what seems to be a complete lack of care for their rides, I don't see this happening at another park. SFMM is still pretty gross too, queue lines have a noticeable amount of garbage in them, but I guess when your focus is xtreme thrill on top of xtreme thrill this kind of thing tends to happen. There were some positives throughout the day, X2 and Batman were both running better than they have been in a long time providing for some very enjoyable rides.Twisted Colossus looks great in person, that RMC crew is fast at what they do. I'm really hoping SFMM can get something right with Colossus and the new Screampunk district. Hopefully this will be a chance for the park to improve the offerings that they already have and clean the place up, but I'm not holding my breath.

Both of these new RMCs look absolutely incredible and will undoubtedly be among the top of a lot of people's rankings, I really don't understand why there is a competition between the two. SFMM is closer to me so Twisted Colossus is definitely the more anticipated coaster, but Wicked Cyclone is mind blowing. It makes me want to travel out to SFNE and experience the kick ass RMC it will be, not burn it down like some people in this thread would be keen to doing.
