I remember reading a news article about a year ago on how HKDL was failing because the Hong Kong GP would rather go to ocean park to see the pandas that they have there etc. It's one of the wonders of the world to see a truly failing Disney Park

Those new trains are pretty, plus they finally got better restraints! *celebrates* although, they are pretty much the Giovanola hyper restraints

I don't know who to trust here I want to believe it's actually making a profit, but of course mark shapiro would say that just to draw speculation away.

My number one favorite moment was the first time I rode X2, it was the point at the top where it faces you down for the first drop, I remember thinking (and accidentally muttering) holy ****! It was the most amazing thing looking straight down from apx170 feet up. My second favorite moment was on Sierra Sidewinder, my friend and I got lucky enough to be facing towards the ground in its lowest turn, it was one of the most intense moments I've had on a ride oddly enough, hopefully it'll happen again whenever I go there next.

I've never seen CP like this, I just noticed so much more in those photos than I have in the rest of my life. Great pictures, seemed like a blast.

So true man, I mean I kind of like it being force-less until you get kicked by the loop, but the drop isn't fun at all until that point

I actually just sorted out my top three X2's drop (I don't care if it's officially an element or not, it's still amazing) Pretzel Loop Silver Bullet's overbanked curve (somebody's gotta show that ride some love)

Vekoma seems to be basing itself more and more like B&M, they pretty much stole B&M's flying coaster restraints (although to be fair B&M did take the idea of the flying coaster from them) but these are pretty much slightly modified B&M trains, although I'll go with anything to improve smoothness

Although Kong was pretty rough in December, it really wasnt as bad as I thought, I even went for *gasp* re rides, I'm not sure if it was just a good day for it, or if the pain is actually tolerable, I find Revolution at sfmm worse. That's just my opinion though

This makes me so jealous of the time I went in December, hopefully I can hit it up again in the summer when all the rides are open and running at a higher capacity

I wish all coasters had trains like that but this and Ispeed are looking beautiful, and as credit crazy said, it has a huge impact on the skyline

The only time I got close to blacking out was on Viper's 2nd and 3rd loop at sfmm, but that's only because my friend and I were idiots and re rode it three times in a row, but for the record Goliath's Helix only raises my voice a pitch and doesnt make me black out, my friend can't say the same though

Wow a lot has changed since I was there 2 weeks ago, the park is looking even better, and the Mr Six set up has gone from him+plus a mr Six spotlight to a whole stage! How were the lines today?

It's good to know that they added new wood to Roar, I actually found it fine when I rode it in December, but it's probably even better now, and Ghost Rider really just needs to be re built from the ground up, I dont think you could save that by re tracking

Weren't there a ton of posts (including from Robb and Elissa) that said the prices shown were not necessarily the final prices and it may change by the time it opened? Yeah still way too much for me though

Wasnt the x2 add on only 5 dollars last week?
