I was down in San Diego today and really wanted to go to Belmont park to re ride the Giant Dipper so that I could finally decide which is better. IMO the SD one knocks SCBB's out of the park (I know a ton of you just had heart attacks, but I thought it was more fun and had a bit more negative g's) FOR THE RECORD: I had permission to take pictures on the ride I call this picture: Crap I've gotta get my camera out the train is coming Walking in you're greeted with lift hill hotness Yep we're at Belmont Park! well I had a good day at sfmm yesterday figuring as I got there before it opened, but if I had gotten there a tad later, it would have been hours of boredom. I sprinted my arse over to Tatsu since x2 was closed, here's what the line looked like when I got there And here's how it looked right after I got off Yummy, B&M hotness! Due to budget cuts they had to stop Tatsu right behind the tree C-c-c-c-c-coaster porn! I then proceeded to sprinting my arse over to vu! woohoo no lines! rode twice! and it was my 48th credit! (There's a nerd in this picture) Termy getting worked on! I know sfmm works fast on their woodies, but they managed to put a Balder clone in overnight I like my rides like I like my plotlines: Dense What a vibrant and sunny station for a vibrant and sunny themed ride I hear in that part, it has high speeds and flies through the station, if only they had a name for that element Ah yeah hut porn, make sure to keep your trench coats and tophats on though Here's where the rumored whale portal will go Beautiful new concrete! Not really on subject for valleying and everything, but I must say SFMM can really draw a saturday crowd. I was there yesterday, got there 30 minutes before the park opened so that I could sprint to my first ride (I was on the first load of Tatsu since X2 was closed due to wind) Then I got my 48th credit vu, did the whole back of the park, but by the time I got over to scream, I noticed the lines were getting there. Scream had a full station which I have never seen, I then waited about 15 minutes for Goliath. That's when everyone started coming, every line, and I mean every line was packed. Viper's and Revo's were out of their queues, vu was out of it's too. Riddler's queue was completely packed and starting to spill out into the plaza. Then I saw something that I never thought was possible, Scream had a completely full queue, I mean it's a good day if the line can make it out of the station, but I kid you not, all the way out. That's when I just started meandering and taking pictures, got one last ride on viper around 3 and went home. I'm still excited to go again next Sunday though! -I must say that SFMM has to be doing something right to pull lines this big between spring and summer break

I went today and got pics of termy's station shell, it's really looking great now, I'll probably upload them tomorrow though, too busy today, oh and I saw some kind of hut going up, possibly for lockers, I'm not sure

yeah I've heard about the 4 oclock line shortening, it's never happened when I went there. My plan is to usually get there early and run my arse off to X2, I got lucky last time figuring as it opened only like 5 minutes after the park which is always a good thing. After that I had time to ride Viper and even Tatsu's line was short enough by the time we got over to it. The only difference was that that was a Saturday in February, I'm hoping that I can hit the spot between spring and summer break...hoping

^Agreed, they literally have a month to finish all of it up and test all of the mechanisms and trains countless amounts of times. Even though progress is fast, they're really gonna have to push to make the deadline (sounds perfect for a Discovery Channel documentary!)

How does sfmm work so fast? Honestly it took how long for dback's station to go up? Granted they were working in snow, but wow! I'm impressed! Probably not too long till trucks come to sfmm loaded with sexy millenium flyers!

^I'm planning on running my a** off to X2 first, it worked on a Saturday in February which is probably still less than usual, but I'll do it anyway since my friend and I tend to get there really early. I think I may pass up on tatsu (no way in hell will I cough up the money for the flash pass ) and head to Deja vu to finally get my last credit in the park (before termy of course). Hopefully it will be less crowded though, it was like northern so cal's spring break last week so hopefully that wraps it up with SB.

^haha I can say the same, that's not my video but yeah that last one does look crazy, although there didnt seem to be as much flipping as I'd expect in the other parts of the ride

oh duy, so another red mega coaster eh? It'll probably go to Carowinds since that's been long rumored, but the land clearing at KD also gives it a lot of leeway

First off, what does MC stand for? 2nd, the red has to be either a hyper or a flying, those are the only two that I know of that use the elongated box. I'd put my bet on CF hyper since they seem to be buying an army of them

Looks like you had a fun time at Buffalo Bill's, the only one I went on when I went was the Log Flume, but with the guns it was actually pretty fun. Did the tunnel at the end of the first drop get to you like it got to my dad (duck and cover lol)?

Agreed about the LSHoF! And they're still rumoring stand ups? I read that the concept pretty much died after GS, good to know that they might be building another! -Also, as long as that track isnt going to sfmm I'll be happy, I want my mildly rumored intamin!
