  1. ^Yeah 500 foot monster just doesnt sound right...600 foot monster it is! But I really do want another good launching coaster in so cal that my play pass can get me on, no way in hell I'm paying for Knott's when I don't have to for Six Flags....at the moment....
  2. Ghostrider and Boomerang at Knotts, Hurricane at SCBB, oddly enough I've been on 2 vekoma inverts (Kong, and Deja Vu) Kong was very decent for me (I even went for re rides) and Vu is probably the smoothest thing Vekoma can make that rests below the track.
  3. ^Haha I totally noticed someone puking their guts out when I went I think in February, I'm betting it's the whole "leg crushing force, inversion, inversion, inversion, force" combo going on.
  4. Hey I'm not sure if I'm just an unobservant idiot (I'm 99% sure that's the case) but in watching separate terminator pov's I think I've noticed the lights in the first tunnel under the pre lift as white sometimes and red other times. I'm probably just seeing things, just wondering if anyone else has seen that too.
  5. I think sfmm needs a nice, smooth full scale kiddie coaster. There are no relaxing rides at the park, they're either massive or jolty, they need something Ninja size that can be enjoyed by the younger crowds, and a way to have fun/relax for the older crowd. Edit: 400th post! Dork Alert!
  6. ^Oh he's doing that on Sunday actually, I'm gonna check it out, so bring on the 500 FOOT 2011 DIVE MACHINE!!!!
  7. ^No because B&M is cool and calls it a sea serpent roll while vekoma is lame and calls it a rollover. I guess the sea serpent roll is more like a cobra roll with the corkscrews going in the same direction though...
  8. Ah it looks so cool! I'd be down for ush getting Orlando Rip Ride Rockit, that'd be cool with me
  9. If we got the season pass price, we need to bring our pass to prove it right? instead of digging through SFMM's computers?
  10. I wouldn't call TWO new B&M's a conspiracy...I'd call it a mystery. I was talking about the mega/hyper classification
  11. Maybe it's just all a conspiracy...
  12. Mega lites are a brand name, like kleenex. Hypers below 200 feet are mega coasters, since the qualification to be a hyper coaster is 200 feet.
  13. ^Not sure if this is really appropriate but.. Haha I know a kid who's afraid to go on coasters because he thinks they might collapse while he's on it. He's a nerd too so he should know about engineering and everything.
  14. That was almost too cool (especially with the Illuminations soundtrack mixed in). That was honestly the best 40 minute use of my eyes (well not really cause I skipped some of it) ever!
  15. Haha those are some cool updates, it's also great to see that SFMM updated the front of Terminator's train to fit the theme, not sure how long it's said transfer train on the front or whatever, but it sure does beat the Magic Mountain logo!
  16. I guess it isnt Terminator smooth, but I mean it was completely re ridable, plus the only real woodie (screw you colossus) that I had been on before was ghost rider well and the 2 giant dippers in Cali Edit: On the plus side, ptc has designed new smaller trains that are just one bench per car, they don't look amazingly cool or anything though
  17. What? Cedar Fair buying a B&M Mega? Nooooooooooo
  18. I think it is a weight thing, from what I heard Roar at SFA is hell because it's so rough, but Roar at SFDK which is pretty much a clone with slight differences, but uses millennium flyers still runs "gci smooth." The PTC's have been blamed for bad Roar's downfall so I'm betting they do have a weight issue.
  19. The Gravity Group just released their pov, looks like a blast
  20. ^However the support being lifted out has the boxy iSpeed style, and an Intamin Style track connector, the only reason I would think it's B&M is because the containers arriving are pretty much identical to the ones found at the plant
  21. I rode Kong back in December, and went for 2 re rides on it, it was kind of jolty, but I didn't think it lived up to the SLC hype, maybe it was a lucky day, or I'm Iron Man or something like that
  22. ^I'm not sure that the dive machine was that revolutionary, they basically took their sit down coaster, extended the trains, and made it go vertical, the only new piece of equipment that may have been challenging was the holding brake, other than that it's mainly just slightly up-scaled B&M
  23. The clear winner will always be Colorado Adventure: The Michael Jackson Thrill Ride
  24. ^You really made the most of your all day pass lol
