Celebrities and Athletes you've met...

I stood ahead of Henry Winkler at my local mall, met Magic Johnson in a Coldstone, and swear I saw Tracy Morgan at Pink's Hot Dogs last week...but I could be wrong about that one. Edit: Oh yeah, I've also been to Michelle Phiefer's (or however you spell her last name) house, Rod Stewart's house, Michelle Hunter's house (Supermodel ) and used to attend the same school as the children of Cuba Gooding Jr. and Diane Keaton -
When I went in April, I actually had a good ride on it which got my hopes up...then came Termination Day...possibly the worst ride I've ever had on it, no headbanging, but it felt like I was riding a jackhammer. Then on Tuesday of last week, the vibrations werent that bad (but still bad for a B&M), but it was still an all out bore fest

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
atem122 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In hindsight, CP's clues leading up to the announcement made about as much sense as Lost. But I must say that this really does look like a great addition, it didnt underwhelm me at all, it looks like something CP needs, and if they do it right the ride may actually have character to it! -
I used to love these shows back before I was a total geekdorkenthusiastnerd, now the shows just seem really lame because they always make the most normal things sound "death defying" and one of a kind, they also usually rave about gimmicky coasters. Of course that is a very smart idea as they're trying to please the gp and not whiny coaster enthusiasts like myself

^Yay! 3/4 of a year after landing on my chin in spectacular fashion, I'm back to biking! I went on an over 20 mile ride from my house to the beach and back on Monday, and biked through hills to my friends house yesterday, plus tomorrow I'm biking with one friend, and then a whole group of people on Friday!

The infamous Rollback!
atem122 replied to themeparkman25's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The closest I've been to a roll back was being one train behind a Superman: The Escape "roll through" -

Would anyone know any of the music played right outside the first pre show building and in the stair case? Whenever I walk by those places in the queue the music seems to set the tone very well -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
atem122 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I doubt that, because Cedar Fair's idea of "Taking advantage of nature" isnt using nature to enhance a ride, no, not at all, they use the other meaning of "taking advantage of" and rape nature instead. -

CP has kind of dug themselves a hole here by toying with people making them think that there's gonna be a coaster, if it turns out not to be a coaster (which is also what I think), a lot of people may be underwhelmed. -
When I start school on the 9th, my day will be from 7:56 to 4:17...I'm excited! *cough*

No. I live in Cali Have you ever had a transvestite girlboyfriend?

I did this on my last time and wanted to know if anyone else does. Does anyone ride Sierra Falls for the purpose of seeing how much a$$ you can haul? My friend and I have learned that if you lean forward and lean into the turns, you go really freaking fast, hence how on our last ride, we got airtime and banked close to 90 DEGREES!!!
-
My Rundown: X2: FRONT FRONT FRONT (Front with ALL the effects on at night is a ritual experience) Tatsu: Back (feel your face melt!) Termy: Back (mas airtime!) Vu: Back (Force beast on the return trip) Viper: Back (But fun in any row) Goliath: Back (Makes the drop good!) Scream: Screw you Colossus: Back (although I have had some nut jarring experiences in the back) Batman: Front (to get the full inverted effect) Ninja: Back (at night!) Goldrusher: Back (Makes the ride kinda exciting) Superman: Front (even though I havent ridden it there) Riddlers: Back (Airtime out of the MCBR into the helix is golden!) Revolution: Ehhhhhh it doesnt matter Canyon Blaster: BACK BACK BACK BACK!!!!

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
atem122 replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Almost as interesting as Boomerang at Knott's, Boomerang at SFDK, Sidewinder at Hershey...etc! Space Mountain at Disneyland, the most thrilling slow coaster on the planet. -
