Magic Mountain could also (re)use one of those fancy old drop towers in the background (at least I believe that's what it is). Great trip report as usual, it was great seeing places that fly under the radar. Did you guys get to ride that first gen drop tower?

Actually that makes me appreciate Disney even more because most parks would not spend the money to make such a cool looking light show for such a short amount of time. Props to Disney for a very cool looking light package. Haha, that's what I was trying (and failed) to imply. I'm amazed that Disney would do something this cool for a short amount of time, they really rarely ever cheap out on anything (except for say, bird on a stick and EE's backside)

The first time I rode Kong at SFDK, I thought it was better than the Batman clones...but I had only ridden it in the first few rows. My last ride in the back (yeah I'm hardcore) completely changed my opinion. Plus, Batman is just a flat out beast when it comes to force.

I find it necessary for the mods to burn people as it highly discourages the offender to repeat his or her actions. For instance, I now know to: Read 3 page threads, even if they're about an emailing service Not be stupid (though I still frequently am) And most importantly, not give Wes any material as he will eat me alive! But the mods do a great job of keeping this forum relatively free of idiots (strange how I'm still on here though), and I highly commend them for that!
