Could it be next to a giant orange (well, it's gone now) and at a park that used to own the Anaheim Ducks? Aka, California Screamin at Disney California. Is it pirate themed?

Is it in close proximity to a major sports team's stadium?

Is it in/near Orange County or Florida?

Is 2012 the year of building slightly larger versions of existing rides?

That just leaves...everyone else? I mean, it's a decent ride, but not that great, hence why it's ranked somewhere between 70 and 100 on the Hawker poll.

^Okay, this is totally off topic, but your location reminded me of it. Are all of the people in the Apocalypse pre-show park employees? Cause I'm pretty sure that when I went in June, I watched the pre-show, and saw one of the main actors operating the ride.

^I just read through the thread, and there were a few, but for the most part it was positive. It's just odd since this is basically the same situation (i.e. a larger version of essentially the same ride), but the reaction has been so much different.

Why is it that when Holiday World announces Mammoth, it's a brilliant way to increase capacity, but when this rumor leaks, it's the stupidest decision on Earth?

Isn't the whole "Black Forest" marketing campaign exactly the same as the campaign for Th13teen?

If it had a dedicated single rider line, it wouldn't slow down operations at all. They have the cars pre-grouped before they open the gates, so they could easily allow someone from the single rider line to enter while the next train is grouped, but not yet boarding. Methinks they should get on that.

I'm not sure if you've seen actual supports or not (so I could be wrong), but if you're referring to the pictures posted earlier in this thread, I'm pretty sure those are either transfer track supports, or more likely, the supports that stick to the track and hold up the catwalk. So it may not be an all teal coaster just yet.

I saw STRFKER tonight. Oh my god, it was absolutely amazing. There was so much dancing, and the crowd was so into it. The band was absolutely great, too, they do an amazing job of blending electric and acoustic music. I even got to high five one of the band members and congratulate him after the show! Edit: The audio is terrible, but this should give you an idea of what the show was like:

I mean, I've never really seen too much of a correlation between Beirut and AF. Beirut is more like Devotchka if they're close to any band due to their Eastern European sound, although this new album is a little more pop-y than their last ones. It really is quite amazing, though, and luckily, I get to see them in 2 months!

^Posts about that problem seem to come up about once a month. Most likely nothing to worry about, cause it seems like that happens frequently.
