Just got home from spending the morning up at the park. From around 10:30-2:30. Extremely light crowds while we were there, we mainly left early due to the mad heat. First we made a break to the right and rode the Log Flume and Seirra Falls before 2 quick Rides on Goliath. Running great and always good fun. Unlike the next ride Colossus, which got my right leg pretty good. I think I will be passing on Colossus until new trains or some sort of track work is done. Walked over to Terminator, along the way rode GoldRusher and Jet Stream to cool off a bit more. Terminator was a 2 train wait and no one was making anyone watch the preshow. Michael is the name of the amazing Ride Op. from Termination Day ERT, and he was there being hilariously entertaining even in the heat. That guy deserves something for being the most enthusiastic Ride Op I've seen. A long lunch was had, then we hoped in line for X2, which was about a 25 minute wait. All in all it was a good quick day. Things were looking good at the park, and the staff were as happy as could be.

I waited weeks for Coroline to be released and receive my copy of it in the mail, only to find out the DVD is scratched and skips.

From my experiences in the parks as a pass holder and having gone around 3 dozen times this year. If you are planning on doing both parks, I'd suggest going over to DCA first. Everyone tends so go to Disneyland at opening and stay there because it opens first, and then switches parks in the afternoon. You can knock out all the must do's at DCA pretty fast before the crowds switch parks. Then you can head over to Disneyland and be able to do all the major attractions and then some with out too much worry. -

^ Congrats to The Bebe's in also bing in first place with me as well. But lets not forget the other person sharing the spot with us as well: coreysjunk And currently I don't have any trips planned where I can snag an unclaimed Mikestry Treasure Hunt Card, How ever I might have to figure out an excuse to travel some where and get one! Possibly over to AZ or NM after Big Mike makes that trip.

Oh come on I know on those 100 degree summer days I'd rather watch Mayo adds than wipe out videos! For me the heat makes me black out more on Goliath and I can't ride back to back like I do in fall. And I've only had one experience with X2's roughness and that was my ride with out holding onto anything. I was tossed around like a rag doll. As long as I hold on and keep my head back I've never had an issue.
