Looks like they are back to testing the lift at a slower speed to me. I'll be happy to see and read reviews when all is said and done and its open to the public. And I think those lights are a little much, but it is one way to draw even more attention to the coaster. It's now a traveling rave that crosses the park!

I've always wanted to be a part of wildlife rehabs etc. That's such an amazing thing your family does. Thank you for sharing! I also haven't heard of that park. I need to go look it up and learn something new today.

I've never felt stapled while riding terminator. But I have been jabbed a lot when the restraints are being checked by the ops. I wish more of the ops would learn to pull when checking the restraints. The part that got me at night was always the small dip before going up into the first tunnel, and every time I was still a bit blinded from the on ride photo flash. It made for a great surprise each ride.

They left half of the old fleet and added in the new ones, and well... they are running slower than ever it woudl seem...

^ I've noticed a lot of the ride ops on Terminator shove the lap bars in when checking them. And there's really no way to prepare for it as the run down the rows. I guess it's a small price to pay for such a fun ride.

Hope im not slow in asking/pointing this out: But did anyone else take a ride on or notice the New bumpercars are there and working?

Next time I won't be shy and just start chatting away with the Bebe's when I see them. And If the Bebe's do invade the West Coast trip at a park I'll gladly come out just to say "hi" to them and everyone else. Thanks again for the kind words Big Mike! I hope to ride X2 with you again at WCB 2010

I saw the Bebe's at Termination day, but sadly didn't introduce myself. A bad move by me. Your trip reports are great! And I'm jealous you got to ride skull mountain, it was closed my visit to SFA. I can only hope to run into the Bebe's at another TPR event in the future and say hello in person.

Just another person who just got in from Termination day. Morning ERT was great, we got 15 rides in, but nothing can change how awesome the Night time ERT was. The spirit of everyone, our amazingly entertaining dispatcher, it all added up to an amazing time. Thanks to Magic Mountain for letting us take the tunnel privately today! And thank you to Robb and Elissa for hosting such a fun party to get us out of that horrible heat!

3/10 for me. Goliath, Thunder Dolphin, and Fujiyama.

I'm hoping I didn't miss the answer to this already. But what will the estimated cost be for the Mini Europe Add on trip?

^Tatsu was down in the morning but seemed to run fine the rest of the day as well as X2 which opened late so it started the morning off with what looked like a 2 hour wait. *I opted to skip and walk on to most every ride in the park for the first 2 hours* Then went back later and waited about 30 minutes for X2. all the crews were stacking trains today and being kind of slow except for the Terminator crew, they are kickin' A$$

Returned from a decent monday at the mountain, and for those of you who also were slightly irritated with having to walk through ALL the switchbacks when there was no line, good news. The first set has been cut and chains added so you can by-pass them on a slow day hu-rah! Also there was no one assigning seats today, thus we got to ride in all of our favorite seats. Row 5 being my top choice now. Something about it is just pure better than all the other rows. Things are slowly starting to flow a bit better out there. And that whole crew is starting to recognize me.

^ Robb posted with a "3/4" of the tickets are sold out, then the fallowing morning stated there were only 25 tickets left. In my head I figure that we are probably looking at a group of somewhere between 100-200 people. Which means we'll all get to take the tunnel over and over again.

Also with the trains, any one know whats going on with the machine guns that were in by the transfer track area? Have they or will they be put on the trains or has that idea been scraped?

Even with night time ERT confirmed. The park closes at 10, is there still no guarantee it will be full ERT for that hour due to the line at closing?

I went to the park today and King Tritons Carousel is back open and a bit of an eye sore still sadly. Any one know if they'll be simply taking it out in the future? Also for those keeping tabs on construction walls going up and coming down, they put them up around the building that will be turned into the little mermaid. If i get back down there friday I'll try to get a few pictures.

^ I'm not apposed to a spinning coaster but i hope they don't go with a cut and paste Tony Hawk thats at other parks. I think of Magic Mountain as unique rides or one of a kinds or firsts and not clones. Minus Scream. Personally if they take the wild mouse route I'm hoping for a Gerstlauer bobsled style. Something different for the states, good for everyone to ride.

So back from a great day at the park and my joy of being a part of the resistance. I got in 7 rides on Terminator while there. My waits where anywhere from walking into the show building, to a 30 minute wait at the height of the day. The coaster its self I love, a ton of fun no matter what row you're in. I like the sound track and the sound bits in there "Take the Tunnel" "Here they Come!" etc. etc.. Every time I got off I wanted to get on again. Something I don't find myself doing with most coasters at the Mountain. One or two goes on say Batman and then I need to switch to something else. Terminator I could ride all day and still have fun. Kudos to GCI and SFMM on a great (and surprisingly amazing) coaster! The pre-show was done with good intent, how ever needs the tweaking that I know the park is working on. 3 times today while I was in the first show room, a guest would open the door instead of waiting for their turn. So clearly a "Do not open door" sign is needed for those who don't get the idea... In the 7 times I went through the shows, I never once caught the entire show, it would be the first half of one part or the second half of another. So timing and flow needs to be worked out a bit more. And since theres no doors to the rooms and all the shows are a bit loud.... it ends up being just too much noise blasting from each room. I'm not against the pre show Idea, I think that maybe in the future it could be simplified into shorter bits on a repeat to get the same idea across with a better flow, and save the staff members ears. The poor girl working the 3rd room had a bad headache from being in there all day. In the end I have a new top 3 ride at the Mountain and look forward to going back to the park, as well as Terminator Day at the end of June. PS if you live in the area and do not have a ticket for the event yet, you're crazy! 2.5 hours of ERT on this is going to be amazing!

I'm off to the park right now! Here's hoping crowds are light since the weekends over. Can't wait to see the pre-show and see what all the fuss is about. PS I'll be sure to TAKE THE TUNNEL
