  1. So for my birthday we all took a random 36 hour trip to Florida, we felt it was a very manly trip. 12 Hours of IOA with an hour of sleep made us all very Manly!
  2. Safety Dance - Men without Hats
  3. This events going to be awesome! Morning and night ERT on Bizarro! What more does one need?
  4. What ever gets decided on I'm in still. Bring on food fun and good times. And if any one in the area is really really wanting to hit up some food trucks, tonight on Melrose by Fairfax High School in Hollywood from 6-10pm is their monthly food truck night.
  5. We just stayed onsite at the Royal Pacific last week as it was the cheapest hotel. We really enjoyed the hotel and the perk of the express pass for the rides. Also note they offer a AAA discount there! Something else that was well worth the price of staying on property was the hour early entry to Harry Potter before the parks open. This allowed us to check out the land and ride several times and really just enjoy the land before the masses arrived. ^^ Have fun on your trip and definetly get the cold butterbeer if you can!
  6. this is like a lotto drawing meets new years eve for TPR fans.

  12. Great update, well worth the wait! It was awesome to finally meet the very cool Bebes! Hope your SFMM day this past week was good. And do give me a shout if you ever plan to do any parks in the area or head to hollywood.
  13. ^ Sounds like I'll have to come up tomorrow for a bit then.
  14. I'll always be a friend and fan of Big Mike! Have fun in Texas!
  15. This really is shaping up to be a fun little coaster! And I really can't wait to try those Timberliners out on the NE Trip as well!
  16. Robyn - Dancing on my own
  17. Was at the park Monday and Tuesday and the crowds were quite light. However the 1 train operations on Tatsu, Apocalypse, and Colossus and only one side of Superman running made some waits a little lengthy. The balance of course was no waiting for any of the other rides, even X2 harldy made it past a 3 or 4 train wait at most. All in all great days at the park. However I will say the food quality (while never amazing to start with) seemed to be worse and far more expensive than what I remembered it being. A friendly reminder why we normally try not to eat full meals while in the park and stick to snacks at most... Oh and still no vertical construction on Green Lantern... yet
  18. A bit belated but a HUGE THANK YOU KNOTTS! They pulled out all the stops for us at WCB. And despite the rain, which to me actually made the day far more fun and memorable, this tops my list of one of the best days I've had in a park. The Log Flume 3 times in the rain was priceless! The windseeker/WCb tshirt was a great suprise, and thank you for that! Oh and If any one from Knotts is reading this, the girls running Sierra Sidewinder for ERT and the day were great! Suggesting different ways to distribute our weight and get us to spin more, and even calling in to get us 1 extra final ride in the rain! Really just a huge thank you to the whole Knotts team! My friends and I can't wait for our next visit! PS - Sit Down!
  19. ^ But for us wussy LA folk 60 degree highs are cause for coats and scarfs See everyone at WCB in the am!
  20. Superman: Escape from Krypton yesterday
  21. After attending todays event I'll agree with Elissa in saying this is a huge improvement to the ride, and almost will dare to say I prefer it backwards to forwards. But will hold that comment until the day they switch one of the new cars around and we try out 104 mph forwards as well. Stephen and I aka "the freaks" were crazy enough to get there at 8:45am ish which landed us a spot on the first official ride, wearing our backwards and inside out T-shirts that were passed out. The best part about waiting around for our moment of glory, was that the one ride ended up being 7 in a row with the ride ops playing with launch patters and dueling the trains while the press hiked up the mountain for their rides. After they Escaped from Konfettie that is! All of the crews and guests in the station were having such a blast with jokes, chatting, and making the waiting go by faster it just really made the whole experience that more memorable and special. Just want to give a huge Thanks Magic Mountain for putting together such a great and fun event! PS - did they really need to send us down and out on the Orient express, is walking really that hard?
  22. Last May when we were at Anaheim Disneyland there a small quake that happened and they shut down rides, guest were confused, as well as cast members who had no information and basically failed completely at any organization. So major props to the TDL staff and my fingers are crossed I'm never at Disneyland should a major quake happen.
  23. Hurler at Carowinds. Hands down the most painful ride I've ever had on a coaster.
