  1. Your Love -- The Outfield
  2. I used to be afraid of puking. Then multiple drunken nights took care of that fear. I'm not afraid of a lot of things anymore. I used to be afraid of a lot of things (coaster, needles, fire, to name a few). Then I was around them and realized they all weren't that bad. I'm now a coaster/thrill junkie, I barely feel it when I get shots (I partially thank allergy shots every other week for the last 6 or 7 years for that one), and I'm now starting to become a pyro.
  3. Down Under -- Men At Work
  4. Agreed. I absolutely love the name. I wonder if they'll rig fire effects during the ride a la X2...? If not the paint scheme will do it justice enough. And did someone say that they'll have ponds and waterfalls under the track? If so that'll make this thing look even better. Can't wait to see it when everything's done. One thing I do want to know, though... I'm not sure if this has been brought up or not yet, but what trains are they going to run on the ride? Are they going with the old trains from Blackout (having them refurbished), or did the park purchase a set of the new SLC trains like those on Great Nor'Easter?
  5. I though they went a little out there to theme a coaster to Evel Knievel. Then this turns up. Regardless of the theme, though, this looks like a solid, fun ride. I've never been on a GCI myself, so I can't speak from experience. However, I've heard nothing bad about their rides, and this just looks like another excellent installation. Now if only the theme wasn't so far out there...
  6. Here's my OFFICIAL entry: Behold! Phlegm-In-Eye on Gemini! Phlegm-In-Eye on Gemini
  7. Interesting. This got me pretty much spot-on.
  8. "You shot the f-----g cat!" Ironman
  9. Dreamline (Live) -- Rush
  10. That ride was the shit. I could ride it for hours on end. I think my favorite flat would have to be the Giant Frisbees. Those are just plain fun.
  11. I'm taking an intro black-white photography class this semester, so I'll get some of my images up in the coming weeks. as well as some of my digital images from parks over the past few years.
  12. I will say that I love that the Phillies won the pennant. As much as the networks would like to have a Dodgers/Red Sox Series, I'm glad it won't happen. I will admit that that would've been a fun Series to watch, but I'm glad the Phillies were able to win out. And the fact that the Rays are so close is exciting too. Hopefully they'll finish off the Sox and get the the World Series. Although this wouldn't be the best Series for the networks, it will definitely be a Series between two teams that entirely deserve to be there.
  13. I haven't been to the zoo in the past year since the opened Jungle Jack's, but I always love the atmosphere there. And the manatees are always fun. reminds me of HornyManatee... One thing I would love to see in the park is a nice little Euro-Fighter. I think its definitely something within the budget of the Zoo, and it would be a nice ride to have right in my hometown.
  14. I've never had a problem food-wise at a park. However, I will start to feel miserable if I have too much sugar during the day. Not triggered by any ride, but just from the heat and dehydrating sugar. On the other hand, my brother had a problem once last summer at Kings Island. He got sick after riding The Beast following LaRosa's lunch. However, that might have just been that once, because he's done it since then and was fine. Go figure.
  15. Wow, for some reason I keep forgetting S&S took up Arrow when they went bankrupt... Plus looking back on the ride it doesn't really look much like a 4-D coaster, just something different.
  16. Huh, looks like S&S's version of the 4-D coaster... It'll be interesting to actually see this thing in real life, though.
  17. This one kinda makes me hungry... Pita on Rita
  18. I was originally wondering if the train cars would be shaped like giant iPods, complete with music and the click wheel. Now I'm not so hopeful...
  19. I might have another entry or two up in the next few days, but right now, I'm kinda partial to Peter Gabriel on SledgeHammer.
  20. Here's my entry. Image from CoasterImage.com. The Boss on The Boss
  21. Oh yes. One of my favorite musicians of all time. Saw him in concert last March in Columbus. It was fantastic. I love Rush. I would say they are definitely my favorite band. Still haven't seen them live, but hopefully I will soon.
  22. ^ Thinks I'm not intelligent. < Actually says a lot of intelligent things. v Wishes (s)he was as intelligent as me.
  23. nice. Can't wait to see this thing when it's all constructed.
  24. Fair enough, I guess I thought about it too simply.
