  1. 1578 currently. I've completely filled my 8 GB Nano with those songs - my full library has 2022 songs. I need a new, bigger iPod.
  2. Mr. Jones -- Counting Crows
  3. From Wipeout's Facebook page: Probably the best pic of Elisa Slvey around. lol
  4. Some kind of a gasket?
  5. What DBru is saying is that the catwalks on SoB aren't black - they're neural-wooden colored. Also, if you only have the final brakes, remember there's a mid-course brake run coming out of the first giant helix.
  6. Just watched Old School again - any time I hear Duran Duran I think about the BJ scene. I can't take them seriously anymore.
  7. ^I actually got a rare trimless ride on it a few years ago. The ride was no better - rougher, but with at least a little airtime. Still nothing to write home about. Basically, it sucked just as much. And I didn't feel much of anything on the first drop. Still forceless and weak.
  8. ^haha, I was just about to post that. Yeah, that's Goliath at La Ronde.
  9. It does seem odd they would remove the cop car for seemingly no reason (that we know of yet). But a matte black would look great on it.
  10. The Reds got absolutely shellacked last night... Ouchies. Hopefully we can bounce back tonight - we need a win. Badly.
  11. ^^Uh, the brown track pieces are just waiting to be painted. They won't be assembled in that condition. They'll be sand-blasted smooth, primed, and painted before being shipped off. Same with the supports. It doesn't look like the yellow track pieces are there anymore, so it would appear as if they've been shipped off. To where, through, I don't know. ^Some of those support pieces are big enough to be loop supports, or they could just simply be the part that attached to the top of the lift or one of the hills. It's hard to tell for sure.
  12. There's a lot they can do with this theme, so I'm really excited to see how they pull it off. Should be awesome.
  13. Agree 100%. The whip you get in the back is crazy-intense. And the fact that the drop has that slight banking to the left makes it all that much better. Right up there with Legend in my book is across the park. The Voyage also has that crazy "holy-shit-I'm-gonna-fly-out" whip effect in the back of the train. And the fact that you stay out of your seat the entire drop is awesome.
  14. I think I found out what happened to X2's tunnels:
  15. Here's a peek at my entry. Layout is pretty much finalized, I just need to work out a few pumps here and there (particularly in the immelman and helix). A little more work also needs to be done to get rid of some intense g-spikes. After that I'll get started on the support work. I'll try to get another update here once the supports start going in.
  16. ^^Hopefully the HammerPants won't cause too much drag that the ride valleys. Again.
  17. Very nice pictures. That Jet Rescue is an AquaTrax, correct? And the paint job on the Corkscrew looks fantastic.
  18. Not bad, all told. A little pumpy in some of the turns, and it would've been nice to see the zero-g and inline rolls heartlined, but overall not too bad. Support work was very nice, though.
  19. The transfer goes parallel to the final brake run, on the side closer to the station if I remember correctly. I should have a picture of it somewhere on my computer - I'll try to find it and upload it for you. EDIT: The transfer is a little hard to see, but its the closer track. The train is sitting on the final brakes, behind the transfer track in this pic.
  20. Well, these are... interesting... My choice is the baby alien. but they're all pretty funny.
  21. ^I won't lie, that'll probably be my second choice, and likely my dad's first. He had all of their albums, and probably still does somewhere in our house.
  22. ^Again, I'm pretty sure that layout is simply someone's interpretation of the ride's layout - nothing official yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see the final layout as something similar to DB and Behemoth, but I wouldn't be jumping to judge it until we hear something official from the park.
  23. I'd likely go with some ZZ Top. Though there was a part of me hoping for some RUSH. (I wonder why )
  24. Agreed, a very nice ride. Perfect for those smaller parks who are just looking for a ride that (almost) everyone can ride. Very smooth. Great job.
