  2. Finally Gadv has its own Discussion Thread! Hopefully this opening day will be better than last years where it was super windy. I wonder what color Parachutes new chutes will be? A green, Blue, Purple mixture would be nice.
  3. I personally like Intamin AG because of their intense ride experiences. Even their smallest of coasters have ejector air (Skull Mountain-Gadv). They seem to thrill the world every year with some new crazy design.
  4. If they don't paint those red rails Texas Giant is going to be one ugly coaster.
  5. Check out this link to see some new happenings at Gadv including MainStreet's new paint job, Rolling Thunder Re-Tracking, and The Fort Rehab we have been waiting for. Enjoy. LINK REMOVED
  6. 79 Degrees on a steel coaster isn't anything but 79 degrees on a woodie is insane. Which one is this?
  7. Great Adventure in the Spring is an enthusiasts dream. May 3rd of last year was honestly the best day of my life. I was able to get in 13 rides on Toro and 12 on Nitro along with rides on 11 other coasters. Gadv seems the best because nothing beats the atmosphere we have here.
  8. Crowds at Gadv around that time are slightly heavy but if you get there early and stay there lat you should be able to hit everything good. Always go Toro and Ka first because Nitro has 3 trains and a huge capacity so the wait is never over 45 mins. You can ride Road Runner Railway without any problem just be careful of the last helix turn because it tends to bash your knees.
  9. Finally! I love Great Adventures so much and now I can share all the small and big news Gadv offers.
  10. Superman: Ultimate Flight took my G1 and for that, we are no longer friends.

  12. Apollo's Chariot did nothing for me. Then again, I did ride Griffon before. Ha. Maverick was rough this year. Not a huge fan anymore just a modest fan.
  13. Uhm. So this is how you feel. Nitro for the record was built above the maintence track so they aren't broken down trucks. Nitro happens to be one of the best B&M Hypers on the planet. It is not over-hyped. It delivers everything people say it does. It could be burnt-sienna with dayglow green supports it and would still be amazing.
  14. I'm suprised El Toro is STILL the only one of its kind in the US. I know by 2012 someone is going to have another Intamin Woodie and I bet it'll be Cedar Point...or they'll just re-locate SOB to Cedar Point.
  15. That picture on the site is very creepy. Scares the crap out of me. I see why no one under 16 may not be able to ride.
  16. It's better than the World's Largest Smoking Section were getting over here at Gadv.
  17. Lol. Thanks for letting me know that.
  18. I think CP is planning something for Demon Drop's area. Why would you take out a ride and send it to another park? Does it not work well with the CP air? I know it was for sale but why not scrap it if you don't want it.
  19. Before I used to go on ScreamScape to get all my coaster news but then I found TPR and found out I could post on new rides. Wished I knew about this site when El Toro and Ka were being built!
  20. Option 2 screams Awesome Waterpark. It is so vibrant and uber-good it is sure to get guests attention. May I suggest doing the supports a Dark Blue though. More like the blue as seen on Gadv's Batman The Ride supports.
  21. The commercial actually did have S:UF in it just with an orange tint over the screen.
  22. For an animal park that dolphin stadium sure looks crappy.
